Luxembourg Findel International Airport in Luxembourg City is the only international airport in the country of Luxembourg. It’s located only 3.74 miles from the centre of the city and provides all commercial air services for the country. The airport is serviced by a large number of European-based airlines, including Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, and Lufthansa.

Long-term parking is available in a four-level underground parking structure, with the first twenty-four hours of parking costing €18, and each additional twenty-four-hour period €9 more, up to eight days. Transportation to the Airport

Public transportation to the airport is available from the city centre by Eurobus and taxi. Bus fare for the trip is €1.50, while the rate for a taxi is approximately €30. Taxis cannot be hailed from the street, but can be caught at dedicated pickup sites located throughout the centre of town.

The airport contains several restaurants and bars where food can be purchased while awaiting your flight. The largest restaurant is Panoramic Restaurant. The 226-seat restaurant is located on the first floor of the airport on the mezzanine, overlooking the runway so that diners can watch the aeroplanes go by as they enjoy a meal. Food is available at this restaurant any time the airport is open. Those looking for a light snack before leaving the airport can grab something at the bars located in the check-in hall and the arrivals hall. The bar located in the arrival hall is open to the public as well as to passengers waiting to leave Luxembourg City.

Travel to Berlin Airport

The Berlin Airport or Brandenburg Airport is a new airport that will replace the Tegel and Schonefeld airports. The new airport, when it is opened, will have new railway routes linking the airport with the local and long distance transport network. Travellers will be able to get from the airport to central Berlin in less than 30 minutes. There will also be bus services that connect the airport with the city.
