San Diego International Airport
San Diego International Airport provides air service to the greater San Diego area. When you're looking to make a reservation for a flight out of the area, ebookers can help you find some of the best prices on seats available. The airport is conveniently located about three miles from the city's central business district on North Harbor Drive in San Diego, California. A considerable number of airlines operate out of the airport's two terminals, but the air carriers offering the most flights are Southwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines.
Parking at San Diego International Airport
Several long-term parking options are available for customers of the airport. Three long-term parks provide vehicle spaces that include a Harbor Drive lot, an NTC lot on McCain Road, and a Pacific Highway Park. The prices for twenty-four-hour parking are $18 a day for both the Harbor Drive and NTC lots and $11 a day for the Pacific Highway lot. All three lots offer free shuttle bus service to the terminals from the lots.
Transportation to the Airport
Getting to the airport from the downtown area is easy thanks to its close proximity. The Metropolitan Transit System provides bus service for only $2.25, which takes about twenty minutes to make the trip. For convenience, taxi service is available as well, costing approximately $8.50 for the ten-minute trip from the business district.
A Meal before Leaving
Before leaving the airport on your flight, you may wish to have a meal at one of the many available restaurants. A wide variety of eateries are available both in the pre-security area and the main terminal areas. In the former, you'll find the San Diego Bar and Grill offering light meals and Starbucks offering coffee and snacks. In Terminal 1, a much wider range of food options is available, from Pizza UNO to the Artisan Café. Terminal 2 also offers a few more food options, including a California Pizza Kitchen, a Deli, and the Home Turf Bar to fill your food cravings before leaving San Diego.
Arrival in Las Vegas

For most flights Las Vegas passengers will be bringing baggage so they will probably need transport between the airport and hotel. They can, therefore, hire a car at McCarran International Airport, take a taxi, bus or use the monorail.
Holidaymakers taking flights to Las Vegas will be visiting one of the greatest gambling and entertainment centres in the United States, if not the world. Not only is the city filled with plush casinos, some of the top entertainers in the world regularly appear at its venues. The Caesars Palace arena has even played host to major sporting events, such as world title fights.
Las Vegas is a city that operates at full throttle 24/7, allowing visitors to hit the slot machines and gaming tables around the clock. The city is a favourite among honeymooners and, in fact, many couples come to get married in its many wedding chapels. One of the most famous of these is the Graceland Wedding Chapel where the ceremony includes Elvis Presley impersonators. A Las Vegas holiday also offers plenty to see. One of the most impressive sights, and well worth a visit, is the 110 storey Stratosphere Tower.
