Welcoming, laid back atmosphere with comfortable rooms and ocean views

Guests at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach wake each morning to breathtaking views over 'Sydney's seaside village', just steps away from some of the most beautiful scenery on Australia's East Coast. huge reception area and nice friendly

huge reception area and nice friendly check in.we had 2 double beds in our room which didn't leave much space to move around, but we were only staying overnight,so it didn't matter too much.bathroom was tiny.overpriced we thought,but we couldn't get anywhere else at such short notice.perfectly located for beach,shops and nightlife.

Great location overlooking the

Great location overlooking the beach, enjoyed Coogee. Hotel 1st floor room with the balcony door open, is noisy from traffic. $210night plus extra $20 for parking and breakfast $32. The room is tied looking, carpets worn & shabby, look dirty from old stains. Bathroom fan not effective and old shower curtains. For the price I have stayed in much better hotel rooms. The reception area and restaurants are lovely, it's a pity the room was not at the same standard.

Great Family Geataway

We traveled into Sydney to sight see, the bus picks you up right across the street from the hotel. It is about a 45 min. bus ride into town. A must see is the Sydney Opera House and Paddy's market. Do not purchase anything until you visit Paddy's. Take a ferry and the Oz Jetboat was the best. Coogee Beach is much better then Bondi, not so crowded.

The hotel's location is fabulous

The hotel's location is fabulous - within 30 seconds of the beach. However, the rooms are looking a bit tired. There are more and more functions it appears... the hotel must get a lot of revenue + benefit from the big group ting. Thi stranslates to noisy, often drunken crowds in the rooms and spilling out into the foyer + surrounds. Not the best look

Excellent Place to Stay
