luxury apartment setting in city centre
The hotel has to be one of the best that I've been in. The room was a mini apartment with kitchen, dining table, and sofa, as well as a large bed and closets. It is situated in the city centre, close to public transit and shopping. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Sydney

The hotel had amazing food on the mezzaine level, but for the budget conscious traveller, the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) and Galleries Victoria is a short block away with a food court, or go to the supermarket at woolworths to make a meal in the kitchenette of your room.

Fantastic stay in Sydney - Loved it!
Booked this hotel after a disappointing trip to Cairns, so instead of sticking it out we returned to Sydney early. Booked Fraser Suites as we wanted a nice hotel with a separate living room/bedroom and like modern/contemporary decor. Location is fantastic on Kent Street -- steps from Darling Harbor, a few blocks from prime shopping, and very close to great restaurants. Check in was mostly painless, though one clerk assisting us was probably very new as he was pretty confused by our booking. But nice touch to have a seating area to work with the check-in staff. Went up to our room on the 24th floor (actually the 14th floor, as floors go from lobby to 10 immediately) and was extremely pleased to see the room layout. Roomy, spacious, fantastic view, full kitchenette, full laundry, great bed, floor to ceiling windows.... Everything we were hoping for. Location has been great -- though we had some light rain the first few days we just adjusted our leisure plans for shopping and gambling. Shopping on Pitt/King streets was not a far walk, and shops were great! Star City Casino is walkable and we came back with more money than we left with, so that was a great plus. Restaurants in the Darling Harbor/Chinatown area were great too -- breakfast buffet in-house was the one down spot, cold and overpriced with not the greatest selections and flavors. But still loved our experience at the Fraser Suites, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

In a word - disappointing.

In a word - disappointing. Very nice suites with everything you need but service let them down on this occasion. If you have a baby my advice is to take your own cot. They either have none or only have broken ones that are not safe. If it rains, make sure you have your own umbrella - they only have a few they lend out. I would stay here again but only because I know how bad the Darling Harbour Hotels are.

We were absolutely delighted with our say . the rooms were incredibly spacious comfortable and catered for all our needs. The power shower was splendid and we were impressed by the modern facilities and overall feeling of space and quality. This was our first wedding anniversary and the fantastic apartment definitely contributed to the enjoyment of our stay. We will definitely be recommending you to friends and family, particularly when we return to the UK. Service was excellent and housekeeping was [polite and punctual, maintaining our room t spotless standard! When we return to Sydney again we will certainly hope to stay with you again.
