Seasons Harbour Plaza

I moved to the Seasons Harbour after staying at another Sydney hotel attending a business related conference. I decided to stay on in the city a few additional days and was looking for something more affordable. I was very pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable price, and the amenities I got at the Season Harbour. The one bedroom apartment I was given had significantly more room and was much better equipped than the high end Junior Suite at the other hotel for a third of the cost. Having a well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer right in the unit was a pleasant surprise. The furnishings were a little shabby, but it was clean, comfortable and provided wonderful value. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again when I return to Sydney.

Previous reviews mention remodeling. The front desk people told us all rooms are refurbished now. Our room wasn't old, but not very new either. Could use some maintenance. We enjoyed the kitchen and separate bedroom. We have found Internet to be a separate fee in almost all of Sydney, and $25/day is absurd. The hotel is close to two freeway ramps and there is a lot of traffic noise if you open a window, otherwise tolerable. The booking stated "Free Airport Shuttle" but there is no shuttle and we had to pay $18 per person to a separate provider. The hotel would do nothing about it because they said they had informed this booking service 2 months prior that there is no shuttle.

The hotel was fine for a short stay. It's in a central location, close to public transportation if you need it. The hot tub was not working which was disappointing. The room was fine, the bed seemed newer, but some of the furniture, especially in the bathroom, seemed a bit tired. For the price, would stay again for a short stay.

We had a fabulous Christmas eve. Dinner in Darling Harbour, followed by fireworks and a short walk home to the gifts ;-).

Location to Darling Harbour is a plus and rates considerably better than major hotels at Darling Harbour. Sussex Street location also gives great access to CBD.

We stayed at a 2 bedroom apartment on 7 floor for two nights. The hotel location is convenient, the 2 BR apartment though are smaller than I thought as I stayed 3 nights at a 1 bedroom apartment in this hotel last July and really enjoyed the big bed, and nice kitchen. therefore decided to come back this time with family. The two bedroom apartment we stayed this time is quite small and noisy at night due to the traffic downstairs. The view is nice though, we enjoyed sitting there watching out via the belcony window. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, and quite responsive in terms of the service. check in and check out didn't take long, so I am happy with it and will come back in the future as well as recommend this hotel to others.

hotel was very clean and the staff couldn't have been more helpfull. had a smashing weekend!

The location was fantastic, close to CBD and Darling Harbour. Room was quite spacious and clean however it was noisy at night because of location.

Great hotel - nice & new & clean. Central location. Highly recommend!

Have stayed here before and will continue to do so. The Somerset Darling Harbour presents good value for money and convenience if you are staying for a number of days or stopping over.
