Insufficient cooling from split
Insufficient cooling from split system device for same.Would have been nice to arrive in a pre air conditioned room after a long journey in 38*C heat.The room was only just comfortable after leaving it on all day for our second night there. The bar refigerator was unable to cool much,it was struggling along although on the maximum cool setting.Reception staff did offer to give us another room but the rooms offered were just as hot with poor cooling systems.The bed was basic and very uncomfortable.The bathroom was somewhat delapidated and had a bad odour emanating from the shower drain.

First impressions were not good
First impressions were not good - unkempt gardens, musty smell in room, dated decor, dirty door frames and entrance to room, but actually the room was very large, comfortable bed and everything you need for a pleasant stay, although the airconditioner was noisy, sounding like a jet at a distance winding up for takeoff at times. The restaurant is exceptional with dishes for all tastes and diet requirements catered for. We ordered 6 dishes plus desert and every one was perfectly cooked and really delicious. The continental breakfast included in the room price can be upgraded for $11 to full breakfast which is again very good with plenty of choices available.

A pretty good hotel for the price. Rooms smelled a bit like stale beer, especially bathroom, but other than that an adequate hotel for our 1 night stay.

Evening staff in restaurany left
Evening staff in restaurany left a lot to be desired re their service & attitude. We went out next night rather than put up with them again. The ladies in front office & morning (breakfast) staff were very friendly efficient. Pity the men of the evenings could not learn from them.
