Just 3 minutes stroll to Four Mile Beach, the new Oaks Lagoons Port Douglas is a relaxed getaway which aims to please with its friendly service, relaxed ambience and unique 'lagoon' lifestyle.
There are six lagoon-style pools, from which guests can swim to their apartment balconies, as well as barbeque facilities within a lush landscaped setting to make the most of the tropical breezes.
At the Oaks Lagoons, accommodation styles vary, from hotel rooms with large corner spas, to 1 and 2 bedroom apartments complete with gourmet kitchen and laundry facilities. There are also rooms with the 'swim out' option or apartments with their own private plunge pool and spa. All rooms offer air conditioning, king beds, broadband connectivity and balcony.
Oaks Lagoons is the ideal base for exploring the Reef, getting active with fishing, sailing and kite surfing, or simply lounging by the pool. Guests can also hire push bikes to get around to the sophisticated boutique shopping, cafs and restaurants in Port Douglas.
Important InformationInfants 0 - 2 years sharing the room with their parents are free of charge, if using existing bedding and not exceeding the maximum room type occupancy. Existing Bedding excludes sofabeds and rollaways. These are charged at the extra person rate. Cot Hire is additional $20 per night. We stayed for 4 nights at Oaks
We stayed for 4 nights at Oaks Lagoons in a 2 bedroom plunge pool apartment. The rooms were spacious and clean, the study area was large enough for a portacot for our daughter which meant both our kids got a room each. One bonus was the spa which we used instead of the pool as the pool was freezing. It is close to the beach but not to the main shopping area of Port Douglas but we had a car so that was fine. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms and pool were exceptionally
Rooms and pool were exceptionally good, however resorts' lack of other facilities ie. bar, restaurant or even coffee shop was disappointing.

Nice hotel, good place to stay
Nice hotel, good place to stay if you plan on having a relaxing holiday. Not the best location if you plan on going into town every day as the bus costs $4 each way ($7 return). Sounds like not much but when you go every day it all adds up. Port Douglas is very expensive for what it offers.

Great vacation. The apartment
Great vacation. The apartment was bigger than we thought. The washer and dryer was great. There is no oven, but stove and microwave were good.

A great venue - had a private
A great venue - had a private plunge pool with courtyard which was great though with other balconies overlooking it could hardly be described as private. Plenty of room and great airconditioning!!

This was our second stay here,
This was our second stay here, and it didn't disappoint. The staff were as friendly and helpful as I remembered, and our swim-out room was lovely. It's a good location (assuming you've got transport) and has a very laid-back vibe - but the rooms, pool and grounds were clean and well kept. We'll definitely be back again!

Nice spacious apartments, good
Nice spacious apartments, good location, great views and surroundings. There is no lifts to get to the 2nd floor apartments, need to go by stairs. I would recommend this apartment.

The Oaks Lagoon provide great
The Oaks Lagoon provide great apartments, The swim out rooms looked brilliant and we went again we sould certainly book them. Staff were knowledgable and friendly. Very good apartmet , facilities, pools and BBQ area
