You can take trams whereever you would like to go. the hotel is very convenient to shopping and sight seeing locations. and the trams are always available right in front of the hotel.

upon entering our room the tv
upon entering our room the tv was on and we could not find the remote to turn tv off, had to go to reception and request a remote. Was not told that you had to place room card into slot to operate lights at night. No milk in fridge for a cup of coffee. For room service breakfast the info book said to fill in form and leave outside door, couldnt find a form had to ask reception and they told us that the hotel had not begun that service yet, so do we ring room service? i had to ask. After paying my account and had returned home I realised they had charged us twice for parking. I phoned and was told that would be credited, 2 weeks later I had to phone again it finally was credited to my account. We did enjoy the Blackman but feel that the customer service has to be stepped up. I would recommend the Blackman to people.

I loved the decor and facilities
I loved the decor and facilities - the reading material and art presentation on Blackman's life was fantastic - I took some quiet time to finish my art essay based on Australian painters and the environment was perfect - gave me fodder to do my next one on Fred Cress - there was no real balcony view but wasnt distracted at least - I understood there was a gift or beauty package as part of the booking which didnt appear - perhaps I was ill informed - however would definitely stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blackman hotel - the location was excellent with a variety of trams just up the road. The facilities were good and apart from the odd hiccup of toilettries not being replenished the next day the hotel staff were quick to make the correction. I would recommend this hotel and certainly look to staying here again.

The hotel is very new and all
The hotel is very new and all in excellent condition, however the hallways outside the lifts on the accommodation floors still smell a bit of chemicals. Also avoid fllors below 5 as the only view is the office a few meters away. Not so great fro privacy if any curtains are open.

Excellent, friendly service from
Excellent, friendly service from staff particularly at the front desk. Room very spacious even though it included kitchenette, huge TV and balcony. Close to city with morning shuttle to city provided. Bar/restaurant also very good.
