Stately boutique hotel within walking distance to downtown Melbourne

Overlooking the picturesque Albert Park and Port Phillip Bay, the Bayview Eden Melbourne is located in the heart of the St. Kilda business district, just a few kilometers from downtown Melbourne. The boutique hotel itself is sleek and modern; spacious rooms offer panoramic views of the city or the bay. All guests receive free high-speed Internet access, as well as access to a rooftop health club with a sauna, spa and fitness center. The on-site restaurant, Niche Café, serves three meals daily, as well as fresh pastries every morning.

A very good hotel

Not far from downtown Melbourne and very close to the rail. Not as expensive as downtown Melbourne hotels.

Bayview Eden

Picked the hotel off the website. It was a little hard to get to, but the rooms were wonderful and for $125 per night, we got a Superior queen room that included a Full breakfast. The room and bathroom were spotless (robes included) and the breakfast was great - pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage, any kind of juice and/or bread items, all kinds of fruits and cereals (for those who eat light!) For our visit throughout Australia, this was the best value for the money we found.

good place in Melbourne

This is the best place to stay in Melbourne. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is very much accessble by trams to go anywhere in the city. The concierge. Mr Dennis Ryan, is very helpful and knows Victoria well. Rooms are good and besyt value for the money.

Good , clean Hotel in an excellent

Good , clean Hotel in an excellent position close to the City.The room was spotless each day we returned from our outings. The Hotel Restaurant was very good with excellent food and service. We would stay there again

Good accommodation, although a little tired looking. Easy to access Melbourne by tram. Albert Park Lake is close by for a pleasant early mornign walk before a good breakfast.

I was a bit dissapointed with

I was a bit dissapointed with the cleanliness, I wanted to have a bath and it didn't look very clean. On a positve note I thought that it was excellent customer service, everyone was very helpful.

Buffet breakfast very expensive

Buffet breakfast very expensive for what you receive. Have stayed in hotels where breakfast has been cheaper than 18.00 and provided excellent breakfast. This was too expensive for the quality and selections. Plates were not removed from table when completed and staff stood around doing nothing to remove the used items.

A Great Surprise everything brilliant,

A Great Surprise everything brilliant, have passed on this little gem to everyone at the winery where I work, will be advising the guests at my daughters wedding next year to use this hotel for their stay in Melbourne. Very happy.

Everything was nice. But just

Everything was nice. But just a sugestion I would fix the treadmill. To many equipments on the gym doesn't work and doesn't look nice if is there broked. Also the was the first time I haven't seem cheese on the meal. Ham, salamis etc... but no sliced cheese, is just a small suggestion tp offer 2 or 3 type of chesse on the breakfast menu. Beside that the hotel was a very nice experience. I'll bring my students next year with me. Thanks
