St. Kilda boutique hotel sports apartment-like suites and free parking
The Cosmopolitan Hotel Melbourne is a swanky boutique hotel located in the heart of the city's artsy St. Kilda neighborhood. The property sits on the doorstep of Luna Park, St. Kilda Beach and some of Melbourne's finest shopping and restaurants. Featuring standard accommodations and apartment-style suites, the hotel offers a variety of options for travelers of every kind. Many rooms include open-air balconies or patio; all guests receive free covered parking. While there's no restaurant on the property, the hotel does include a small convenience store in the lobby.

- This room offers one double bed. Spacious room designed with the business person in mind. Tastefully decorated and furnished with a separate desk, cable internet, LCD TV, Foxtel, large shower and king size bed.

- This room offers one single nbed and one queen bed.M odern and well appointed hotel room. The room contains a queen bed, 1 single bed and a day bed(converts to single bed). All bedding is in the same room and the room is fairly spacious.
- Deluxe room
- This room offers one king bed. Spacious room designed with the business person in mind. Tastefully decorated and furnished with a separate desk, cable internet, LCD TV, Foxtel, large shower and king size bed.
- Studio apartment
- This room offers one queen bed. Modern and spacious self contained studio apartment. Room is bright and comfortable and has a kitchenette with a small cooktop and microwave plus small fridge.

- This room offers one queen bed and one sofa bed. Modern and spacious self contained 1 bedroom apartment. Max Occupancy is 3 persons. Room contains 1 Queen bed and 1 sofa bed. Request for sofa bed must be made prior to arrival and directly with hotel.

Clean and comfortable. A bit of noise from the trams. Great access to Acland Street and by tram into Melbourne. All of the staff were friendly. Would stay there again.

Great location, and quiet (room
Great location, and quiet (room in the back). Lousy reception though, they asked for a $100 cash deposit (or $50 on credit card, which I refused) 'in case we broke anything' or took anything from the minibar (which was empty anyway apart from a ridiculously priced bottle of water). It wasn't the kind of reception/treatment I would expect from an otherwise fine hotel.
