Luxury hotel steps from downtown Melbourne
The Crowne Plaza Hotel Melbourne is located just steps from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and the rest of downtown Melbourne. After an exhaustive renovation project in 2010, the property's guest rooms are now modern and spacious, with dark colors and sweeping windows that offer views of the city and the Yarra River. Guests have access to a state-of-the-art health and fitness center. Have stayed at the Plaza a few
Have stayed at the Plaza a few times now and will be happy to stay there again, the only thing is that it was a bit expensive this time compared to other stays and I did look around at other hotels in the area while I was there

Only one thing that i can find
Only one thing that i can find wrong with the hotel and that was the quality of the room service food. It was pretty bad. Expensive and not good quality at all, tasted and looked like cheap frozen food. However the buffet breakfast was fantastic and of a high quality. Go figure!!!!

Great location for the exibition
Great location for the exibition centre. Shame the pool wasnt indoor it looked very inviting after being on our feet all day but not in the rain.

Everything about our stay was
Everything about our stay was wonderful except the room service breakfast was very disappointing. Apparently the buffet in the dining room is superb so we will be getting up for breakfast next time instead. The room was perfect, the view of the river sublime and our meal in the hotel Grill whilst it was very slow it was well worth the wait. Definitely stay here again no problem at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay,
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very close to all the action without the constant noise of fellow revelers returning in the early hours of the morning. Comfortable beds, friendly staff - we'd happily book in again.
