Centrally based historic Melbourne icon featuring lavish accommodation
Part of the MGallery Collection, the Grand Hotel Melbourne is located in the Central Business District (CBD) close to a number of top attractions and making it ideal for business and leisure trips alike. However, the hotel offers a wide variety of amenities, including a fitness center, sauna, spa, Jacuzzi and pool; guests may find no reason to leave the premises. RAB Bar and Restaurant offers a varied selection of sweets, cheese and regional wines. To assist in making holiday planning as simple as possible there is also a concierge service, currency exchange facility and tour desk.

We had a lovely stay in a very grande hotel. We do not have anything to complain about, our suite was beautiful and clean, the staff were very friendly and happy to help, our breakfasts and service in the dining room was exceptional and the location was fantastic. We will certainly be coming back and recommending this grande hotel to our family and friends. Thank you.

The hotel is in a very good location,friendly staff and the room service and cleanliness is good. The lighting is very poor and hardly a five star hotel. About a 4 star hotel and overpriced.

Will be staying there again. Layout of apartment excellent with a wonderful ambience created from its innate history and architecture. Staff attitudes and service excellent and helpful.

The room was very comfortable
The room was very comfortable and reasonably well equipped. However, as the hotel was undergoing renovations, one elevator wasn't working which was inconvenient. Also the supplies such as tea and coffee were very basic. The hotel has a very good location next to the train station with trams stopping right outside the door - an easy walk to restaurants and sporting facilities.

I would recommend this hotel for
I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay. We spent 3 nights and found all facilities to be very good. I have rated the Pricing as good because room rate was discounted the rack rate is too high bar and restaurant prices are comparable to most Melbourne hotels of this standard. My wife and I both found the king size bed to be extremely comfortable.

The hotel was great, location
The hotel was great, location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The room was just stunning the only thing that i found was the air conditioner not the best. Also i thought the car parking fee was way too dear. Ive stayed at alot of hotels and founds this to be the most expensive by far. I think you pay enough for the rooms parking should be free or alot cheaper. Deals with rooms, parking and late check outs would be a great offer!
