There is a new general manager

There is a new general manager and she seems to be taking on-board the need to upgrade the hotel and she is certainly trying - starting with the flat screen TV and freechannels. The bed linen has also been changed - and she will continue with all the rennovations slowly but it makes a huge change. The location is simply brill - loads of restaurants - shopping centre is all within walking distance. The staff are very helpful and we have just had a very good 10 day stay. Overall very pleased with the hotel and intereted in seeing how things change from now on. Excellent Sarah Wilkin www.neilwilkin.com

Our room was beautiful and clean,

Our room was beautiful and clean, an improvement on our last 2 stays, only 1 complaint, $25 was a bit steep for 1 nights parking, thats up $15 on our previous stay. Jim.

in transit to a more permanent location

I was in transit to find a more permanent location in Perth (originally from the US) and the hotel was accessible from the airport, great location in the city for a great price.

whilst the standard room was "cant

whilst the standard room was "cant swing a cat tiny" it would be adequate if you werent expecting to spend much time in your room, it was a bit daggy but clean and our upgrade to the larger family room was a relief. a friendly budget hotel right in the city, the staff were pleasant and helpful. probably the best thing about it!

Hot water jug ceased to operate

Hot water jug ceased to operate and was not replaced/fixed despite request. Broken cupboard handle was present in room when we entered and the short security bar on the door broke when gently gripped and pulled. Evening meal in the dining room was good and good value for money.
