Great City Break Hotel

Great place

we spent 3 days in Vienna and couldn't be at a better place especially the location.We walked all over by foot and no taxis.The taxi ride to the airport was like about $52.00.Great place and location

Just what we wanted!

We wanted easy access to the old city and the location was perfect. Several blocks away is a wonderful neighborhood market that we really enjoyed visiting.

Just across the Danube Canal from

Just across the Danube Canal from the central area this Mecure is well positioned. The room we had on the ground floor was large and quiet. The only problem was that the hot water took a long time to run. The bar acros the road was excellent

An excellent place to stay in

An excellent place to stay in the 2. Bezirk of Vienna. Just a short walk to the historic centre, great service and easy to access. The rooms, although on teh smallish side, are clean and well-maintained. The lack of a restaurant can be a draw-back, but the breakfast is generous and overall it is a place I would re-visit.

Luxury hotel in cute location

We stayed there for 3 nights while spending 2 weeks in Central Europe. The rooms were a good size and very clean and modern. The location is pretty good, just a few min walk from the subway and trams. It's about a 10-15 min walk from the old city where all the touristy stuff is.

Indochina 21 was an amazing restaurant. Best we ate at in Europe. Also, straights and gays party together in Vienna so don't go looking for the gay bars and clubs.

Very nice, great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this small, friendly hotel. The staff was very nice, the room clean and quiet, and the location great. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Vienna. The only issue we had was that no breakfast was included in the price. They were asking 15 euro at the front desk which was a bit much compared to what we paid at nearby cafés.

Etwas Durchzug im Zimmer

Ich hatte ein Doppelbett Zimmer in der 1. Etage, wo es in der Nacht dermassen zog, dass ich am morgen erkältet war. Ebenfalls konnte ich in diesem Zimmer die Heizung nicht aufdrehen. Auf Anfrage erhielt ich dann ein Zimmer in der 7. Etage (neuer Bereich des Hotels), für denselbe Preis. Die Zimmer sind mit Wasserkocher ausgestattet, wo man Kaffee und Tee zu sich nehmen kann (nette Geste). Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lobby ist sehr warm und lieblich gestaltet. In der Hotelbeschreibung hiess es, dass es eine Saune, eine Jogginstrecke und eine Disco hat. Das war jedoch nicht der Fall (ich glaube, die Texte der Hotelkette wurde ein bisschen vertauscht).

Hyvä sijainti

Lyhyt kävelymatka vanhankaupungin nähtävyyksille ja myös u-bahn asemmalle. Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä ja palvelualtista.
