New Yaear 2012
Picked this hotel due to leisure facitlies and these were extremely disappointing. In hindsight, should have gone more central without the facilities. Pool was extremely cold and no amount of swimming could warm you up. I hoped this was somewhere where we could come back to and relax and this was not the case. Looks very old and tired, sauna didnt smell clean, towels all over floor to walk in and out of pool area and jacuzzi appears to have been decked over. Very disappointing.

Convenient Location
The hotel was offered at a great price and it made for a good home base while we explored the areas around the Royal Palace. We had a huge bucket of steamed mussels downtown for only $15 euros, plus Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate. Awesome! The location was near the train station and a bus stop that takes you to the airport for only 3 euros. The hotel staff was coordial. Hotel services were very expensive, however. Internet access was $15 euros for one hour! Breakfast was $18 euros. Rooms were nice, clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable, but when the reservation says king or queen, you get the queen and its misrepresentation to suggest otherwise because it costs more for the king bed. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler, whether traveling for business or pleasure.

Nice place!
Excellent location if you are spending time in the EU parliament area. It was quite a walk (20 min) to the Grand Place, but we walked everyday - it was a beautiful walk, but a little cold in the snow! The cost was an excellent deal compared to hotels in the Grand Place area. The hotel had excellent service and the rooms were great. Very nice, modern, had a refrig and coffee maker, and the front desk always had chocolates in a bowl at reception! They also let us check in early (around 12 noon) which was a great help to us, coming in from the US on a night flight. It was a very pleasant experience. We lacked nothing.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
There are several small convenience shops close by (one within a block), that sell fruit and groceries. We bought a box of cereal, some milk and fruit and ate that for breakfast each morning in the hotel room and saved a lot of money. It was a big help having a refrig in the room. Also, all the chocolate shoppes give free samples everyday around Grand Place - Enjoy them!

Clean, Simple and Nicely Located
Booked this hotel since it was the cheapest hotel we could find that was somewhat centrally located. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel staff were, clean and comfortable the room was and how close the hotel was to the main part of town which is only about 15-20 min walk away--albeit in freezing weather when we were there. Note: we had double beds and my traveling partner complained that their's sunk into the middle; I thought mine was quite comfortable. Also, at check-in I was offered a 50 euro package per day which included internet (~20 euros) and breakfast for 2 (25 euros each). We declined but may be worth asking if you're spending time in the area.

Good Hotel!
All in all, I would fully recommend this hotel. The rooms are a good size, very clean and very comfortable. It is located very closely to the European Parliament and is in a great postion for the palace and most other attractions. My only complaint about the hotel is that the pool area could do with a good clean as there was green algae on the tiles and a lot of hair around the floor and the leak they must have had through the roof could do with repainting as it is a bit unsightly!

Weekend away trip
Good Hotel overall. No towel rope in the room so going down for a swim with clothes on and changing the clothes in the changing room is a bit of bother. Sauna broken for the whole weekend. I did book it and have every intention of using the suana.
