Nice but not memorable
The rooms seemed clean and the beds were comfortable. Was surprised at the lack of a free breakfast buffet, although the on-site Los Altos Garden Cafe did feature a nice - albeit overpriced - selection of breakfast choices. This was my first time in Canada, and - although this isn't the hotel's fault - I will add that the behavior of the overzealous Canadian border guards who detained me for over an hour may well make it my last.

The Forks recreation area and nearby suspension bridge is a definite must-see on any visit to Winnipeg.

Casino is good, hotel is not.
Good location, just a few miles east of downtown in a busy commercial shopping area. Busy casino, however the hotel is tired and the staff just is not with it. Pool was closed for renovation, seems like it was last summer too.

Met all our expectations
Arrival and checkin was fast and easy. Nice to have a retaurant in the hotel along with a casino that actually paid. Our only complaint was that they did not supply clean glasses in our room the next day. Otherwise it met our expectations.

Nice Hotel
The room was very nice and clean. Read some poor reviews. Not sure what they were complaining about. The only complaint was the shower head. But I think they are very environmentally in touch.

Club Regent Casino Hotel
Hotel is fine. It's nothing "special" but nice and clean. The staff are the best asset. They were ALL very nice and helpful.

There are multiple restaurants including a McDonald's in the casino. In the hotel itself, there is a "pub" and one restaurant which was "okay". I would not recommend the buffet. Order off the menu.
