Good for the price.
Went to Halifax to visit friends and stayed in this little hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful but the rooms were a little dated: old TV, pull out sofa instead of 2 beds, just 2 lamps and no room lighting. The area is a little run down, but we felt safe the whole time. All in all a not a bad place for the price, but we would have liked a bit more.

Short walk from hotel
If you are ever in Halifax, be sure to try one of their "Donairs". They sell them all over and these "gryo" like pitas are Delicious!

Very comfortable
I really liked the Comfort Inn...especially the front office staff, they were more then happy to accomodate any request I had. The room was spotless, comfortable and well maintained. However, just a note you will need a car or really good walking shoes, closest ground trasportation was about a mile away. But very close to the ferry - over the harbor to Halifax downtown to all the sights.
