The Citadel Halifax Hotel is ideally located in the heart of downtown Halifax. Our property features an indoor pool, children's wading pool, sauna and whirlpool. The Citadel's on site restaurant BotaniCa is sure to satisfy all with its culinary delights! The hotel is within walking distance to the Halifax harbour waterfront, the casino as well as many museums, shops and restaurants. Please note the following if you will be a guest on October 25th or 28th 2009: Due to necessary equipment upgrades being performed by Nova Scotia Power, we will experience a Power interruption on Sunday October 25th, from approximately 10pm to 3am and again on Wednesday October the 28th between the hours of 10pm to 6am.Hotel staff will be on hand during the duration of both Power Outages to ensure that you remain comfortable by providing each guest independent lighting, extra blankets and assistance travelling the stairwells when and if required. The phone services from the Hotel and each guest room will be fully functional. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you during your stay.

The standard room was far from standard the bed was sunk in the middle I had to liston to fan over head all night The staff changed my room then they would not make the bed the following day

Upon arrival at 12:30 a.m. there was no luggage trollies available and one traveller had knee sugery and the other traveller was 81 yrs old. Also the room was not available upon check-in even
