Cosmopolitan Toronto - A Great Weekend for Couples

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Cosmopolitan over the Thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful stay. The location cannot be beat, we were close to the Air Canada Centre where we saw the Leafs Season Opener, plenty of great restaurants within walking distance including the St Lawrence Market (a must visit, but closed on Sundays), and the Hockey Hall of Fame (it was a bit of a hockey weekend because she's an avid fan {though not of the Leafs}). Check-in was smooth, but took a little longer than expected especially because it was so late at night and there were two staff to expedite the process. The wine bar is nice, though they do not stock all selections on their wine list. Otherwise we were very pleased.

Great Home away from Home - very relaxing

The Cosmopolitan was a wonderful experience. Very polite staff and full of usefull information. The room and spa are ideal for the relaxation need to recharge your body, soul, and spirt. The rooms were large U shaped, with a sleeping area, reading area with a plasma screen TV, and a full kitchen. the washroom was on the opposite side of the room great for privacy while staying with a guest. The only unfavorable experience was we did request late check-in and valet was NOT availible(they were full) but staff was great and prompty took care of it. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay an extra day to relax. It is located toward the lake half a block off Yonge street walking distance to the water front and many attractions, shopping(Easton center mall), Dining (houstons , ect..) and nightlife. I would book my room here again and have told many friends traveling to toronto for business and pleasure. ENJOY!

Hidden Gem

The Cosmopolitan Toronto was cosmopolitan indeed. The hotel is contemporary, private, and feels like you've found a little known secret. The rooms are a home away from home in their design and layout; very urban, modern and without a lot of clutter. It is rare that staying at a hotel on a business trip seems like such a treat.

Great location

We had a wonderful time at the hotel which is right in the middle of the city and close to shopping, theaters, subway and great dining. The hotel does not look like much from the outside(Note to owners-clean the street in front) but was a treasure for us. Rooms large and quiet and had a attitude to them that was very relaxing.

Very luxurious and perfect location!

This hotel is very luxurious and the suites are really comfortable and with an Asian modern style. The location is perfect; in between shopping area, harbor, entertainment area and dining area. All in a distance of 5 minutes walking. Try also the spa in the hotel, you get a great discount when you are staying in the hotel.

What a great surprise!

Very unique, stylish, convenient, friendy, comfortable place. Certainly exceeded our expectations and made the whole Toronto experience far more enjoyable. Attention to detail is what i would refer the stay to with the background music, the incense, the rocks. If you look for a relaxing experience or just something different, this is the place. Hope they had a pool. Location was unbeatable in a quiet street in the heart of downtown.

TOTALLY FANTASTIC!!! LOVED IT MADLY!

This hotel is FABULOUS! Everything was great! Spotless rooms, great location, EXCELLENT BEYOND COMPARE front desk staff! Our stay was out of this world and we cannot wait to go back! Loved that fact that the security is tight. You need your room key to get on the elevator. Everything was wonderful!

Excellent!

I spent 5 days in Toronto for a business convention. The Cosmopolitan was within walking distance to the Metro Convention Center, as well as many highlights of Toronto. I loved the kitchen in the room, with stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher! There are several grocery stores nearby and I saved so much money by purchasing my own food and making it myself, especially since I'm on a very specialized diet. The decor is so relaxing and fresh - a nice place to come "home" to after a long day!

Lawrence Market isn't far - you can get fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables there. A huge cost savings compared to eating all meals out is to have some meals in your room.

Wonderful!

The suite was a wonderful value. I was surprised to have a full kitchen, washer & dryer, and separate bedroom. Everything in the room was immaculate and very comfortable. I was in Toronto for business and didn't spend much time doing touristy things, so the suite was great for getting work done and relaxing. Definitely a great bargain for the suite if you book on Orbitz!
