Location/location/location
The hotel is situated in a location that easily accessible. If you want to explore the city, then this hotel is fantastic. You can walk all over and/or take public transportation. What I did not enjoy was that the pictures portrayed a chic-ness to the rooms and that was not felt once we entered the room. It was small and not cozy and not sleek/chic looking. I'm not aware if they are still renovating rooms, but our room did not look up to date. The bathroom had a dingy look to it, even though it was clean (example: tiles was stained/tiles where bathtub is cracked, etc.) The staff were pleasant and accommodating, the gym was great, with loads of equipment. If you want the hustle and bustle of the city, with much people entering in and out in the lobby, this is the hotel. If you want a less active place to stay, you need to look elsewhere. Many families stay here with little children. Our main point to visit Toronto was to explore, which we did and this hotel was in the midst of many things.

Short walk from hotel
on the weekends/holidays, the public transportation offers a pass you can use all day on the trains and streetcars as much as you like until the next day at 5:30am. Total four (including yourself) can travel with this one pass for a minimal amount.

Great Location
Great family hotel. They really cater to kids, including a kids check-in and an indoor water slide. As a result, the lobby can be really very noisy, but I didn't notice much noise in the room. For us, without kids, the location made the hotel. It's close to everything, has a sightseeing bus that will pick you up at the front door, and an adult-only pool.

Toronto
We went to the Hockey Hall of Fame, The Market Place, Eaton Center. The location was great. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and public transportation. Refridgerators in the room would be nice and queen size beds. My son is 6'4" the beds were too small.

Business Toronto
My 21 year old son accompanied me on a business trip to experience the great city of Toronto. He came away very impressed with the city and all it had to offer. The Delta Chelsea's central location made it easy for us to find things to do and most were within walking distance.

Reasonable accomodations for the price
I have stayed at the Delta Chelsea on many occasions, and have always had good stay. The hotel is usually busy, but the service is good. It is located in a very central location, with short walks to restaurants, shopping and attractions.

Good if you don't mind hidden prices.
First, they didn't have our reservation on the computer. It wasn't under my name, credit card or reservation number. It was embarrassing to be in line looking like a fool. I booked a month in advance, and had to print up the reservations from my email [...]. Then get back in line and wait for the manager to approve it. My credit card number was put into the computer after they couldn't get it to read it (it has always been able to be read) and then my driver's license was photo copied. ( felt like I committed a crime. They were really nice to me but I still felt bad not knowing if I would be charged again for the room.I knew I might have to pay for parking, but I didn't know I would have to pay for every little thing. I made a local phone call to my parents and was charged $1.89 for a couple of minutes. Breakfast was way to expensive. I was change $15 a night for internet access. Also Parking was a bit more than I expected costing $27 per night. Costing a total of $123.05 for 3 nights on top of what we payed for the room. This is not an economical hotel and not technologically inclined hotel. The elevator system is bad as well. You have to remember which color elevator goes to your room, which is on your card, but there are two elevators to a North Parking lot and a South Parking lot. You don't get to choose which one you park in and you have separate elevators to those in different parts of the lobby. So not only do you have to remember your room number, you have to remember you color. then which parking lot you parked in and where those elevators are, then which floor of those elevators. it gets confusing when you have to park in different places. you see people lost down there in the catacombs of the parking lot.

Got a Decent Price
Got a decent price - $109,00 for 1 queen, each of 4 nights.Walked to waterfront - bit of a hike - small kids couldn't walk, but subway 2 blocks away or streetcar 1 block. Check in quick - but always busy and a bit of a wait. Rooms very, very small. Only myself and it was okay - but if my husband was with me it probably would have been too crowded. Bathroom is so small when you close the door it is about 6 inches from the toilet. Have to move all the way in and then close. One room I was in had granite counter and bathroom was clean. I asked to move rooms after a guy moved in next to me. I could hear his entire business conversations as he spoke on the loud side. It ruined one night - so in the morning I asked to be moved - and they did so very promptly with apologies! When I went to book an extra night I had to pay $160.00 for same room. High end restaurant I didn't try and a Market restaurant where you ordered usual - burgers, fries etc. Not really health conscious. However, I asked for poached eggs (not on menu) and they whipped them up. Went to see the pool on 27th floor - enclosed in glass. It was soooo hot in there I looked for 20secs and then left. Way too hot to be pleasant. Most girls at the concierge desk were helpful with tours, directions etc. However, I asked if they sold tickets that put you in the express line for the CN tower and they said yes. The ticket I bought was not the express ticket. I waited in a long line and was not pleased they didn't know. The desk had limited info on what was really going on in Toronto. Every time I asked about a show/venue that I either read about in the paper, saw on a sign somewhere or got a brochure on somewhere else - they simply said, "Oh we didn't get those". So most of the shows I went to were ones that I found out about myself. I had to push for them to book my shows for me. I did tip the one girl who was helpful. No one at the doors where the taxi lines up. They usually hung out by the concierge desk. I usually waved a cab to come forward to get my myself. I felt someone should have been at those doors. I wouldn't have wanted to pay more for this hotel/room. No small fridge either. Air conditioner kept room cool but came on/off every 3 minutes all day/night. If you get a deal and can walk, and just need a place to come to later at night, this will work.

Chelsea over the 1st of July
We toured the city of Toronto for several days and this hotel was an ideal location, right off of Yonge Street. The rooms were very nice and there were several restaurants in the hotel. The line to pay for the breakfast one morning was kind of slow and our food was getting cold but other than that the stay was great
