Devonshire Motel & Restaurant

Not much to say ....I understood this was not suppose to be a top rated hotel and I choose it because of location but it was deplorable...The room was dirty ,unpainted ,falling apart....There were no redeeming features and this place should be removed from your offerings ....If I could of moved out the moment I got in I would have but my schedule would not allow it .

worst hotel i've ever stayed in---first walked in and saw a huge spider, there was a bed, toilet, shower, and sink--thats it, previous apartment complex---NOT A HOTEL the rooms connect from inside with 2 closet doors 2 inches away from each other. gross green pool, i wouldnt let my dog swim in it. small parking lot, wierd neighbors. i think people actually live there? i dont even think there is a restaurant.

Had I not already paid for the room and staying only till sunrise, I never would have stayed. Manager a check in was polite and the sheets were clean but everything was downhill from there. Small rooms with everything including: paint, plumbing, heating and aircon, floors, furniture etc needing an overhaul. Rate on the internet appeared attractive but what others were paying at he counter appeared to be 40% less. Ice machine was in a dungeon like cellar and there was no coffee. Would never stay again or recommend this motel.

the hotel we stayed at was nothing more then that price. the lock on our door wasent working which made me a bit concirned about my saftey. their pool was surprisingly nice.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Owners of the hotel are not respectful of privacy, though. We were traveling with 3 dogs and during booking no mention of procedure for pets was mentioned. Upon arrival, we were watched from the lobby while we situated ourselves and upon seeing dogs get out of the car the female owner started yelling across the parking lot and the male owner started calling the room. An additional fee of $10 was imposed (minimal and insignificant) for the laundering of the bedding in the room. Is this not supposed to be performed after every guest leaves!!!??? A fishing pole was also stolen off of my trailer during the night even though the car and trailer were parked directly in front of my room. All that said, the price was fair and the rooms were outdated but clean and comfortable. Any travelers interested in this motel should understand the low rates are good for the wallet, but there are some drawbacks that need to be considered before booking.

Stayed there for the Red Bull Race in June. If you are looking for a place to sleep (not watch TV, sit in a jacuzzi) than this hotel will do for you. It's an older one, but the owners are super nice and helpful and the price is right. It is not too far away from the center and there are plenty of restaurants in a near by area.

It is very clean and quiet. Staff provided excellent service. Location is convenience.

Rode bus to downtown Windsor. Ate dinner, went to bar had a few drinks, walked to Casino Windsor and played the slots. Fun trip, hotel wasn't best but good service makes up for it. But i didn't come to Windsor to stay in my room the whole time. Canadians seem a bit rude to American tourist.
