All 252 rooms include a 42-inch flat-screen TV plus a TV in the bathroom, iPod docking station, walk-in closet, and a rainforest-type shower. Guests can work out on Precor machines at the 24-hour fitness center or enjoy a dip in the indoor rooftop pool. The full-service spa uses Comfort Zone products and offers indulgences like the 90-minute Aromasoul massage, which blends Oriental, Mediterranean, Indian, and Arabic treatments.

Best hotel for the price at the best location

Would recommend Mon 1 Apr 2013
I checked into this hotel at the last second decision since my previous booking at the original hotel in Beijing didn't work out. While my colleague checked into Grand Hyatt Beijing not too far. We did our comparison. This Hilton is really new (or fairly new). The room is quite spacious with large windows. Very nice contemporary interior design, lighting and furniture décor. The bed is super comfy. Spacious bathroom and tub with granite floor. A very nice walk-in closet with well lit mirrors. Excellent acoustical insulation for quiet night of sleep. It just doesn't get any better than this in terms of great deal on a great room in Beijing. The staff is super friendly. All speak broken English, but they try to speak English as best that they can. Some speak very good English. Tours are provided by concierge. Great restaurants and cafes inside. The spa is very clean, comfy, airy, and divine. The massage was awesome! I didn't expect such great massage to be received in Beijing. The girl who gave me a massage did an outstanding job in worked out my knots. Considering the value of $200/ night, it is well worth the price. And I would definitely stay in this Hotel when I'm in Beijing again. Another note: I left my iPhone charger in the room. I phoned the hotel to see if their housekeeping has seen it. Their housekeeping turned it into lost and found. And the hotel staff informed me over the phone that they will ship my charger to me immediately. I received my charger in the mail soon after. This is a quiet, serene hotel with superb cleanliness and fresh, delightful contemporary interior design. It is better than other Hilton Hotels in Beijing and Shanghai. I think it's better than Grand Hyatt down the street because the rooms are larger. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Beijing.

Attractions

Close walk to Tianmmen Square and shopping. Taxi outside. Convenient location.

Huge Room, Great Breakfast, Good Location

Would recommend Sat 7 Jan 2012
This hotel is located near shopping and a short walk from major sights. The staff is helpful and attentive. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Time saver

Beijing is a very large city, walking is not possible between most major sights and restaurants. Plan on using taxis and the subway. Always travel with a list of destintations written in Mandarin for taxi drivers.

Great Hotel

Would recommend Wed 23 Mar 2011
Excellent Hotel, great decor, great service. I left unintentionally $600 in cash in my safe deposit when I left and called later. The staff had reported the money and the Manager offered to reimburse my credit card since I had already left the country and China's banking authorities do no permit free money exchange. What a great surprise and relief, quite frankly in many other places in the world it would have been likely that the cash would have "disappeared" as there was no proof of my claim other than my word and the staff's remarkable integrity. The only drawback was that we asked for a glass of champagne which was not in the bar menu at one of the bars and were charged almost $40 for it without being warned by the waiter, which in my opinion was in poor taste. Other than that the hotel experience was perfect, happily would return again.

Very nice accomodations

Would recommend Thu 10 Feb 2011
I have now stayed in the hotel twice for business. The rooms are very nice and the front staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best selection and service. Two thing to know if you are there on business - while breakfast may be free for you its $40 for your guest - very high. I have eaten dinner there 3 times and 2 out of the 3 there were issues. Slow service, menu items not available and wrong orders. Apologies were quick to come but at the prices being charged it made me go elsewhere for my dinner - several nice places within walking distance.

Dining

There are several places to eat from fine dining to MC Donalds with in a short walk. The area is very safe to walk around at night.

Nice Hotel, Nice Service, Nice Location

Would recommend Sat 28 Aug 2010
The Hotel was very nice, quiet, clean, and safe. The fitness room and swimming pool were incredible. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of healthy choices and yummy food for our children. The room we stayed in (75m^2) in was wonderful with lots and lots of space. Our only complaint was some of the employees at the Concierge's Desk. At times it seemed as if they didn't have a clue what they were doing or things took much longer than they should have. Also, sometimes when ordering room service, the person we spoke to had limited English. This made ordering food a bit painful at times.

Very nice hotel with perfect location near Wangfujing Street. Only 15 meters to APM Shopping Mall with many restaurants. The room was incredibly big, we were upgraded to a suite. It was very very nice and modern. You must dine one night at the hotel restaurant CHYNNA, excellent food and ambience for reasonable price. This is the best choice in Beijing.

Hilton Beijing, Wangfujing stay

Would recommend Fri 28 Aug 2009
We had to wait 2 hours for the available room. But the manager courteously apologized and upgraded our room to something bigger. I would say it was worth the wait.

Shopping hint

The buffet is not really worth the money you pay. This is my only complaint.

worth the price

Would recommend Mon 3 Aug 2009
Great room, huge and very comfortable bed, shower and just gorgeous. Very polite and friendly staff. Everything was great except that internet was not free and most hotels in China do provide free internet, so I was a little disappointed and annoyed. The location is great, I was on a layover for just three nights after a month in China so it was very convenient for last minute shopping. For sightseeing, book your own tour online, there's many options, they pick you up from the hotel and drop you off at the end of the trip. It is very convenient and cheap. In comparison the ones the concierge service offer are too limited or expensive. Overall, it was worth every penny and I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Beijing to stay there.

a work in progress

Would not recommend Wed 22 Jul 2009
This is a high quality hotel with excellent and up-to-date amenities (large lcd tvs, broadband and wireless connectivity, motorized curtains and shades, double sinks, etc.). The staff are young and very helpful. Their English is good enough for most situations. There are two major problems. First, the back of the hotel is not finished--the so-called Macau Center is basically an unfinished shell and several floors of the hotel are blocked off at one end because the rooms behind are unfinished. Guests who are paying premium prices might wonder why Hilton did not complete the hotel complex first. The biggest problem is across the street: a building site the size of two football pitches. This is a 24 hour operation that during our stay featured large earth moving vehicles and massive dump trucks going backwards and forwards throughout the night. We had booked a large room but, like many guests, gave up our room to find somewhere in the hotel that would allow us to sleep through the night. They gave us a room on a higher floor that was smaller but it was still too loud (they were using large pneumatic drills to break rocks). Eventually, we found a room on the opposite side of the hotel but it was much smaller than what we had paid for and we didn't receive any discount for the inconvenience (we had paid for a suite because we were traveling with our kids). I would recommend that unless you are hard of hearing you should probably avoid this hotel until the building across the road is finished--probably by the end of 2010. It is actually a super hotel with great rooms in a wonderful location just off the main shopping district and close to Tiananmen but it's hard to enjoy the hotel when you lose so much sleep.

Attractions

walk south on Wangfujing to the subway stop. From there you can get virtually anywhere in the city.
