Do the bustle on Huaihai Road at this mid-market Shanghai hotel
Location is the prime selling point of this mid-market hotel, which opened in 2007. The 167-room property lies in the heart of the French Concession on bustling Huaihai Road. Guests can find countless name-brand stores and a wide range of restaurants nearby. The hotel runs a free morning shuttle bus along Huaihai Road with stops at several shopping centers. great stay
the location is perfect, in the middle of the french concession 50 meters from the main HuauHai street. the staff were very nice and assisted us in everything we needed. since there is a construction site nearby we asked for a room not facing that side and we got a great room. this hotel is for sure my choice for my next trips.

Friendly Staff and Convenient Location
In Shanghai for the weekend for vacation. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating; my flight was delayed in the States for a day and they were able to push back my reservation without charging any fee. The hotel is conveniently located in between two subway lines and the walk to the stations are within 5 minutes. Wireless is definitely great considering a lot of hotels in Shanghai don't offer that. The only thing I wish is a bigger room as it was getting crowded with two people and all the luggage. I would definitely stay with them next time.

Great location, good facility, soso serv
This was my second stay here. I really like the location, there is so much close by. The room is clean, the safe works and the shower/bath is better than average for a SH hotel. There is no real concierge service unless you speak Chinese. The gymn is well equipped, but some of the equipment is not well maintained. The Business Center is poorly staffed especially if you don't speak Chinese. If you are a tourist and just want a good place to sleep as base camp for a Shanghai adventure this is a great place for the price. Business travelers may not get the support they need. Free LAN but now wifi.

We will definitely stay at Howard
We will definitely stay at Howard Johnson Huaihai hotel again. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in at Shanghai. Location is great, close to major shopping areas and Metro Train. The hotel is very clean with modern design, the room was spacious enough and the beds were very soft and comfortable. I recommend this hotel 100%

If we returned to the wonderful
If we returned to the wonderful city of Shanghai, this would be our first choice of hotel. Lovely helpful staff, great location, close to metro and easy to access all areas in taxis. Great bedroom and bathroom. Lots of choice near by for restaurants and many many shops. Excellent value for money.
