Golden Tulip Prague Terminus

Everything about this hotel was pretty much as written by others. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room we had was small, but clean and had everything we needed! There is no view, but most attractions and railway stations are within easy walking distance. I'd certainly stay there again.

The location is great if traveling by train or bus. It is an easy 5-minute walk from the main train station and is right across the street from another station. Old Town Square and Winceslas Square are only about a 10 minute walk each in different directions. Although the neighborhood is a bit run down, we did not feel uncomfortable walking to the hotel late at night. The included breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean, especially the large bathroom that appeared to have been recently updated, but the bedroom showed signs of wear not typical of a 4-star hotel. For example, paint was peeling on the ceiling, the carpet was very worn and the table had a big scratch (gouge) in it. Although we could not hear any traffic or train noise in our room, we did hear people in another room talking in the middle of the night, and they were not shouting or arguing. The sound seemed to be coming through a vent. The long stairway from the street to the reception desk with no elevator option is another reason we would not rate this as 4-star. However, it was certainly a reasonable value for the price we paid.

Meant to book at the Golden Tulip Savoy, got redirected, through online discount carrier, to The Golden Tulip Hotel, booked the room (first time guest and user of website) not knowing of the slight change in the name, and ended up next door to some pretty nasty establishments. Hotel allows smoking through the lobby area. Only upside was its close proximity to the train station and old town - though pretty seedy neighborhood at night and very early in the morning.

This hotel provides access at an affordable price. They do have better and lesser rooms, as I found out on a second stay. Location to train station is 5 minutes, also to airport express bus. Theres a whiff of smoke about the hotel as they allow it in the bar and it travels throughout, but not to rooms. Breakfast is very good. I would book there again.

This hotel was awesome. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they helped us book city tours with hotel pick-up. The hotel is also very close to the main train station, which is another great advantage.

The room for four was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast buffet had variety, and well prepared. Staff was courteous. Hotel is within walking distance of Old Town and St. Charles bridge, but a long up hill hike to the castle. I highly recommend.

Friendly efficient staff with a good command of English. Breakfast was extremely delicious and plentiful. It was a disappointment that the hotel lacked dinner facilities, however. The area around hotel not very salubrious, but was only a 15min walk into town. I would be happy to recommend hotel to anyone.

Wir verbrachten ein Verlängertes Wochenende in Prag, Das Hotel ist sehr Zentral gelegen. Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt und das Personal sehr Höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Altstatt ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt würden wir wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

Visites de la ville. Hôtel situé trop près du périphérique mais relativement près du centre que l'on peut rejoindre facilement à pied ou en transports publiques.
