Josef

The Josef is easy to find and provides easy access to Central Prague. I can't say enough about the helpfulness of the staff, particulary the front desk. They answered questions, made phone calls, gave me recommendations. I made my trip stress free.

The Hotel Josef was a wonderful experience. The staff were very welcoming and the facilities were superior. They served an excellent breakfast! The free jogging tour on offer was a great initiative and participation was rewarding. The Hotel was located within easy walking distance of most of Prague's historic features and public transport facilities.

Great location, in walking distance (4min) to Old town square, and can get to Karlov Bridge in 12 min. Absolutely fantastic breakfast, 5 star quality. Very nice bar with nice selection of wines downstairs. Great rooms, very very clean and terrific design. Extremely helpful and welcoming concierges! Unmatched quality for the price!

A stylish hotel in a great location. Walking distance from historic centre. Hotel pays great attention to detail with nice extras such as a jogging map, DVD rental service, information folder etc. Comfortable room with great facilities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast which can be eaten in the garden. If you're visiting Prague stay here!!

After a hot, horrible train trip from Vienna without aircon working we (parents and 3 teenage children) were not looking forward to another 4 days in a hotel. Within the first hour at the Josef we had completely changed our minds. Funky hotel in fantastic position on cusp of the Old Town and Jewish Quarter. Rooms are a good size, light and airy with aircon which was essential in the 30 degree plus days. Beds comfortable and great pillows. John at checkin was great: welcoming, helpful, and the Scottish accent was a welcome change. Good suggestions for places to eat. Breakfast the best of any included breakfast we've had, with a great buffet and a la carte options all included. They serve until 11.30: great for late-rising teenagers. Concierge very helpful with all requests. Jiri the barman was unbelievable: nothing was too much trouble, always attentive and made a pretty decent martini. Would not stay anywhere else in Prague which is our new favourite city.

This is a stunning 4 star hotel. It is visually a treat as is the friendly staff. The rooms are quite comfortable and large by European standards. The breakfasts are amazing. You can take the buffet, choose from the menu or have both. Eegs Florintine, crepes, fresh bagels and bread, etc. The location cannot be beat. Old Town Square is just a few blocks. The Paladium indoor mall is one block away....as is Starbucks.

Modern furnishing, small but very clean rooms, good internet options , excellent location in old part of city.
