Sleek and chic Danish design on the city square
Airy open spaces and plenty of light fill The Square Hotel Copenhagen, set on the hopping City Hall Square, the "Radhuspladsen." Appealingly urban top to bottom, the white lobby invites conversation in square furniture punctuated by a Copenhagen icon: egg chairs in lipstick red. Wander off to museums, the harbor, the pedestrian shopping street, jazz cafes or the famous Tivoli, all nearby. Opt for a buffet breakfast on the sixth floor overlooking the roofs of the city (fees apply), then step outside to catch a bus to the zoo or a train to Sweden.

location location location

wonderful location...you could walk to everything mentioned in tour books....remember that Copenhagen is expensive!

Exquisite Location

When we arrived, the hotel front desk asked us if we wanted to upgrade to an executive room for $45 USD per night and we agreed. That was a mistake. We had a great price from Orbitz and should have stayed with it. The room was the same size as the less costly room but faced the Square which was a mistake. It was very very noisy. Upon checkout, the cost was $50 USD and they would not honor the 45 USD and told us the girl had make a mistake. We were in a rush to the airport so they had us by the xxxxx and we did not have time to argue. The hotel is delightful but the rooms are not large by any standard but the location is perfect. It is across the street from Tivoli and the Hop On Hop Off buses, the only way to truly see Copenhagen at an affordable rate.

Great Hotel, Great Price

The hotel is in the best location of the city. Right across from the city hall square, and the top of the Strogot. Right around the corner from Tivoli Gardens, museums and easy walking distance to the main train station.

Great Location

The hotel is in a great location as it is next to the Town Hall Square and Tivoli. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the room was very comfortable.

Good price, but a not a very clean room.

Very good location, good price. The room was not very clean, and the bathroom was barely cleaned for a week. Other than that everything was good. The front desk was very helpful on every question.

Great hotel at very reasonable price

The room was small but that didn't quite matter as it was immaculately clean and everything was provided for. Its a first class hotel though within very reasonable prices. Couldn't get better value for the price. The location was very convenient also - right in the heart of the city. This will continue to be my very first preference of hotels to stay in Copenhagen.

Sehr gute zentrale Lage

Sehr gut erreichbar vom Flughafen, auch sehr nahe beim Bahnhof und nach Ferigstellung der Metro auch dazu sehr nahe Verbindung. Das Tivoli sowie die Fussgängerzone, oder die Einkaufsmeile sind alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Schade ist, das es im Hotel kein Restaurant gibt. Das Zimmer ( Nr. 444) war schön, etwas klein, aber gut Schallisoliert und auch sonst sehr ruhig.

Hyvä hotelli hyvä sijainti

Erinomainen palvelu ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aamiainen tosin ylihinnoteltu. Majoitumme varmasti toistekin, mutta ilman aamiaista.
