BEST WESTERN Hotel Ronceray Opera

Our room was so small the bed was in a loft! Old, worn, noisy, shabby and a terrible bed. Wireless worked well and location is convenient but accommodations are very poor. Would not recommend.

The location of the hotel was very nice in the center of Paris. Metro was close by and easy to get around. As for the hotel itself I was not very happy. First we asked for a full size bed, they gave use two twin beds. When we arrive they did not have a reversation for us on the computer. The cleaning service person took my personal belonging and when I reported to the front desk they never got back to me. Every night when we came back to the hotel we had to get the key activated because it did not work, or they had use down as checked out. we were very disappointed, but we made the best of it and did not let this masup our vacation.

We are well-seasoned travelers who pack light, so do not bring big luggage with you. The rooms are very small, the bathroom is big (shower/tub), the beds are comfortable and clean (NO BUGS), and this hotel is in a FANTASTIC area, surrounded by great bars, restaurants, markets, Metro stops, etc. Do not leave valuables on top of cafe tables; some young girls ran by, swiped my guy's wallet and ran. A guy from Cafe Oz (next door) ran after the girls and GOT THE WALLET! We tipped him well. I wish there were a hot water pot in the room and the mini-fridge isn't exactly cold. If the weather is hot, I'm not sure what the room would be like climate-wise, but it was cool while we were there and we were quite comfortable with an open window. Cafe Zephyr next door is very nice too. Chartier Restaurant (around corner) is recessed into a building, but go for a late dinner. Order red wine and escargot. Inexpensive and very nice.

I was there to show my artwork during a gallery opening reception. I would like to see more life in the hotel. The reception area could be updated, it seems really cold and lifeless. I didn't want to spend time there and hated for my guest to wait in this area as well. This was just like the average rooms in the hotels I've stayed in. I thought the flat screen TV was a nice touch and the white duvet on the bed was nice. Hard wood floors in the rooms made me very happy and I loved my room facing blvd. Monmartre. The iron needed to be replaced. Bathroom shower curtain needs to be plastic instead of fabric, water kept leaking from shower to floor all the time.

the rooms are somehow small but I think it is common in a 3 stars hotels in center town Paris

Wir haben in diesem Hotel 3 mal Übernachtet bei einer Städtereise. Das Hotel ist ca 1 Minute zur Station Grand Boulevard und sehr Zentral. Das Zimmer war klein, aber für nur 3 Nächte hat es volkommen ausgereicht. Wir haben nachgefragt ob wir ein Zimmer auf die hintere Seite haben können und hatten dann eine super Sicht auf die Sacré Coeur. Wir hatten Zimmer 410 in der 4. Etage. Das Personal war sehr freundliche und hat auch gut Englisch gesprochen. Wifi war inklusive und gratis (auch im Zimmer). Mc Donalds, Starbucks Coffee, Subway und Hardrockcafe innerhalb 2 Minuten erreichbar! Wachsfigurenkabinett gleich nebenan. Ich würde as Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen.
