Classics Hotel Bastille

This is a very nice hotel. The price is reasonable. The male staff was very helpful and went out of their way to do what they could to help with any issues that we had. The female conceirge was not too friendly or helpful. Overall, I would stay here again if I returned to Paris.

This hotel was very pleasant! We took the train and subway to get to the hotel (Metro: Charonne). The hotel staff was very nice, esp the night shift. They gave us suggestions for trips and were very helpful. The room was smaller than the a regular American hotel room but very clean and the bathroom was nice and new with a tub. The breakfast was much better than I expected and delicious--good variety too. The area around the hotel is ok with lots of bakeries and shops. I would definitely come back here and recommend this hotel to anyone. Overall it was a good price, good area, clean and BF is included! Book this place!

This is a delightful small hotel tucked midblock into a slice of Paris life, abundant with boulangeries, brasseries, fresh fruit, candy (MM-M), apparel, wine, half a block from the Metro, 20 meters to a bus stop. Walkable to the Pierre La Chase Cemetary and the Bastille. Staff professional, friendly and helpful - breakfast, French coffee with all the necessary accoutrements, good fresh rolls and charcuterie, fromage, beurre, fresh fruit, croissants, chocolate filled pastries, nutella, jams, cereal, yoplait natural from 6am to 10am. My windows opened into a tall enclosed courtyard, from which my mornings began with the chattering and chirping of the many small birds in the trees and shrubs below. Rooms were spare, but quite functional - very clean and welcoming. Comfortable beds. Hot water was instant and abundant. Rates very reasonable. Special notes for the exquisite Algerian Brasserie next door - excellent lamb, duck, steak, couscous, wines - very reasonable; the Rouge Lime on the corner, great Steak Tartare and pomme fritts; Malac around the corner and home of an annual grape festival in the fall. Next trip back, I will most assuredly book a room at the Hotel Classic Bastille at Rue de Charonne.

Very nice hotel, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. Would reccomend to friends :)

The hotel was more that we expected,plus the personal was great,the rooms are small like all the hotels in Paris but for us was a great choice and the location is great less than a block from the metro!!

One of the best experiences in life.... Very friendly, nice and helpful staff, really the most amazing we've ever seen! Great value and price, ten minutes bus route to the heart of Paris, nice coffee and dinner places close to it. The room was clean and nice, and the buffet breakfast great! Next time we go to Paris, we'll stay again in Classics Hotel Bastille...

Da wir mit unseren vier Kindern zwei Zimmer (ein Dreibett und ein Doppel mit Babybett) nehmen mussten, hatten wir nicht viel Auswahl, um in einem bezahlbaren Rahmen zu bleiben. Für diesen Fall war das Hotel ideal, außerdem schöne Gegend und nahe Metrostationen.

Creo que es un bonito hotel, el precio un poco alto. Pero lo mejor que tiene es el recepcionista llamado Alvaro, realmente es amable, eficaz y soluciona todos los problemas. Su localización es un poco retirado de todo, pero tiene el metro a media cuadra.
