Holiday Inn PARIS - NOTRE DAME

Memorable staff - friendly and always there to help. Rooms are small but wonderfully maintained so I don't see any issues. There are outside noises but thats the type of place you are at right in the middle of the busy city centre where it's busy and exciting! Highly recommended and easy to find!

The room was too small. There were no drawers and precious little other storage space. Do not expect to unpack your bags. Wonderfully comfortable bed and nice staff. The location was superb. A short walk to the all the must see attractions. Only one block from the most convenient metro and rer stations. Do not rent a car unless you want to pay a lot for parking and probably wreck it in the insane Paris traffic. Buy your wine in the local markets where the local Parisians shop. You will get fabulous wines for 2.50 euro. Every restaurant we visited was unbelievable.

Location was great and room was clean. Who goes to Paris to stay in their room though? Staff made this experience wonderful. They checked me in hours ahead of schedule, were wonderfully patient with my horrible French and were professional the entire time. They set a great tone for my first visit to Paris.

We stayed here for a long weekend in November. Hotel was brilliant, staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful, they also held our bags as we'd arrived a few hours before check-in and also for a few hours after we'd checked out. The location is very central by Notre-Dame and a lot of the other famous sights are within walking distance,the metro is also literally 2 minutes round the corner. It was very easy to get to by the RER train direct from CDR airport. There are lots of wonderful backstreets to explore and plenty of places of different cuisines to eat for a reasonable price nearby. At night we walked along the river, plenty of people were about so it always felt safe. Even though the location is very central, it was very quiet at night. The beds were so comfy it was hard to wake up in the mornings! The bathroom was clean and we have a spacious shower. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was excellent! Staff was very friendly and the location couldn't get any better. Walking distance to everything a first time visitor wants to see.

Fantastic overall despite the sulky chambermaid who insisted on knocking on the door despite the do not disturb option!

As a wheelchair user, it appeared to me that this hotel had made a sincere effort. However, there were several issues that made the stay difficult. Of course, they do not have the accessibility standards we have in the U.S., so my expectations were lowered and I was able to make do. The entrance access requires getting the attention of someone at the front desk to open the accessible entrance. The accessible room does not provide grab bars for the shower and the shower bench is very small. The lavatory fixture is extremely hard to operate. The hotel provides computers but the cost is high and the desk for them is very high. There are several other access issues, but the wilingness of the staff to help goes a long way in making up for the hotel's barriers.

This is a very nice hotel in a GREAT location. There are plenty of cafes, restuarants, clubs and metro in walking distance. The rooms were small but they were clean and staff was helpful & friendly. I would recommend that if you plan to use the internet, you should bring your own computer and pay the 5 euros to use the wi-fi services...its expensive to use the computers in the lobby.

Great location near metro, restaurants, and walking along the seine river. Hotel room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Wifi was not free and only in lobby. Bathroom had a frosted glass door. Little privacy from bathroom sounds.
