Hotel Armstrong Paris

[...]It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. The bathrooms were incredibly dirty[...] The cleaning lady was not even wearing shoes.Terrible experience!!!

The receptionist upon arrival was absolutely great, making recommendations, providing maps, etc. Too bad that he could not be on duty all of the time. We had arranged for a van taxi to be there to take us to the train station at 8am and were in the lobby at 7:45. At 8, I asked the receptionist where the taxi was. She picked up the phone and said that it was not coming and that she had "to call". She called once and said that she would try "in ten minutes" I asked when she knew that the taxi would not be there and she told be "2 minutes' before you came up". Really? AS I SAID - THERE WERE 4 of us there at 7:45. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive. McDonalds is a block away and much less and better food. The room was teeny, teeny, tiny.

The Hotel is close to the Metro and has a grocery and pastry store nearby. Late at night the streets are a bit noisy. Better to stay here in the cooler months than in the heat of Summer. Room was small but very clean. Everything worked well. Each room has its own bathroom. Some are shower only. The big plus, other than price and location to the Metro, is the staff. They are very helpful and attentive to requests. The staff that helped us speak multiple languages...French, English, Italian, Spanish, and Arabic. They have security cameras outside and the Hotel entrance doors are locked after dark. However, a staff member is always at the front desk.

My family & me had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. Cooperative staff, close proximity to Porte de Montreuil Metro station, restaurants and amenities are plus points. Free Wifi and internet facilities, also complimentary hot drinks. Room a bit small though but OK for the price. Overall, superb experience. Will frequent this place again next time in Paris

It was raining the day I arrived but we could still go round because the tube station was very near. Furthermore, the hotel recommended a good Chinese Restaurant, so we felt very happy with our stay. The breakfast at 8 euro was adequate but of course we hoped it was cheaper. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a good choice for students, if you are travelling and need a clean hotel at relatively affordable price. I liked the amenities, especially free hot drinks available throughout the day. Overall, the hotel was nice and clean.

I used the hotel for 2 nights and I had 2 great nights sleep, the room was tiny but clean, the staff for friendly and helpful. It could do with a kettle in the room and the walls are a little on the thin side but other than that no problems. I would stay again.

Chambre (très exigüe) ne correspondant pas aux photos... Douche à la propreté douteuse. Serviettes de toilettes Une grande et une petite pour 2... On devait venir nous en amener d' autres... On les attend toujours. Pas de chaînes françaises... problème connu à l' hôtel mais pas solutionné. Pour le petit déjeuner, les premiers arrivés ont un peu de choix, après 9h30 prenez-le ailleurs si vous avez faim !

Je sais qu'il n'est pas aisé de trouver un taxi à certaines heures à Paris. La personne de la réception a tout fait pour m'en trouver un mais je suis restée deux heures dehors en attendant un taxi. J'aurais aimé que l'on m'indique quel bus ou métro prendre.
