Hotel Belmont

We received what seemed to be the very "last" room in the hotel - sixth floor, and right at the back. It was actually quite big with some quaint decor and a good sized bathroom. Overall, considering it's three star rating, I was impressed. The staff were largely polite although one guy working in the evening abruptly greeted me with "what's wrong?" as I stood by the desk looking for assistance. When I asked for a recommendation for places to go and eat he directed me to the Chinese across the street rather than direct me towards the Champs d'Elysees for example. Considering that he's in the service industry I just found him to be a bit ignorant. Internet was available downstairs in the lobby although was out of order. However, they gave me a free password for the wi-fi which worked fine even on the top floor. I did not eat or drink there so can't comment but the bar looked nice enough. Myself and my girlfriend did suffer from bites after a night in the hotel. We obviously can't prove that they came from bed bugs but we were bite-free the night before. I would hope this is just an anomaly. Otherwise, not a bad experience and for the money you can't beat the location.

The staff was great, very accomodating. Breakfast was super, and plentiful. The location was the best, close to everything and the area is very safe coming late at night. The hotel has remodeled the bathrooms, and was superb, but these renovation did not included the bedrooms. These are in need of new carpet and paint. Thank you for asking! === In the other hotel we booked with you in Barcelona, they were overbooked. Very apologetic, the moved us. They paid for the taxi, provided us with drinks, and a good explanation. They moved us to Hotel Catalonia. This hotel does not need any improvements. They treated us as royalty. The location is so close to the Champs Élysées where all the fun is...

Out of fairness we must admit that there were small signs in the dining room stating that breakfast was 13 Euros, = $20 per person. This was for corn flakes, yogurt, bread and jam. NOT A GOOD VALUE, by any means. Otherwise the Hotel Du Continent, Paris, was comfortable. We would stay there again.

Our first visit to Paris was enhanced by this great hotel. The central location is great for sight seeing, the Eiffel Tower, museums, Seine River cruises and shopping. Friendly service and breakfast.

Rather hold hotel. Definitely not fancy, but has everything you need. Clean bathroom.

Great location, easy to get to many sites and goods eats from this hotel. The room was slightly dated but not drastically. The elevator fits two people and one suitcase.

Stayed 2 nights - was on a flying visit for an expo. Great location just off the Champs Élysées and Just a few mins from L'Arc de Triomphe. Room was adequate and staff are helpful. Good value for money

Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great location, breakfast, rooms and so close to the metro and the Champs-Elysees. We loved it.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix, propre, lumineux, très bien situé dans une rue calme mais à deux pas des Champs-Elysées, métro proche. Par contre, ascenseur tout petit et fait un peu peur à cause des grincements...
