The hotel is also steps from Les Invalides, a collection of museums and monuments celebrating military history.

- Continental breakfast buffet
Location
Leisure travelers will log many steps on their pedometers from Hotel Duquesne Eiffel, which calls the 7th arrondissement on the Left Bank home. Guests can stroll five minutes to Les Invalides, then move on to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel might also provide a baby bed if necessary.
Dining
The first meal of the day gets its due everyday at Hotel Duquesne Eiffel, where guests dine in a vaulted room on a continental buffet breakfast or traditional English or French breakfast. Horrible Hotel Overpriced
The hotel was a joke. the room was about the size of my master closet. The staff was OK, but the place was not at all reasonable for the price. the pictures on orbitz were of the building next door. it was a joke. avoid this place like the plague.

HOTEL DUQUESNE
When we arriwed there after a long flight from the states they told us they don't have a room for us for some reason but they have made arrangement for us at another hotel. We don't think that is acceptable but we had no choice to go and see the other hotel and we ended up better because the other hotel was a bit better.Hotel Duquesne is on a noisy street and the rooms are the size of a walk in closet. The photos are missleading. They show descent size rooms but that is not what they are in reality. We don,t recommend this hotel. You can have other hotel for the same price for better value.

Good location but a few issues
A pretty hotel in an excellent location. We booked a superior room which was quite small. The internet certainly wasn't high speed, in fact it was so slow as to be virtually useless. The plug in our sink didn't work and after it was fixed the sink leaked - this they didn't fix and so the sink was un-usable. On the up side: the staff were friendy, helpful and they spoke good English. Breakfast was quite good but very pricey at 12 euros. Its a clean and tidy hotel I'd give it 3 out of 5

Delightful and great location
The rooms, while small, are nicely done. We rented 2 rooms on the top, 5th floor. Both had balconies with views of the Eiffel Tower. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. They were always willing to offer pointers and advice. The location was fantastic. Just two short blocks to a major Metro station and four blocks from the Tour Eiffel! The only complaint is that we wished we had wifi in the rooms. However, wifi is available in the lobby, as well as a computer that has internet access. All in all, it was a lovely hotel and we highly recommend it.

A gem in Paris
It took us a little while to find the hotel, but I fault our horrendous sense of direction. The hotel is in a great location - a short walk from the Eiffel Tower, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle with cafes and shops within walking distance, and two short blocks from the Ecole Militaire Metro station. The people at the front desk are beyond helpful and always pleasant, regardless of the time of day. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. Are they small? Yes, but most standard rooms in Europe are small, so we didn't mind. We would definitely go back!

A room with a lovely view
The reason I returned to Paris was to take a friend who had always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower and so we wanted to stay relatively near that monument. We just had to lean out our window to see the beautiful structure ... it was a perfect, ideal view. The rooms are small (but it is Europe and they don't have American-size hotel rooms); but, other than the size, the rooms were perfect. I actually stayed in one of the rooms with a picture on this site (a green one and it was great). I would avoid eating the "breakfast" b/c it is rather overpriced unless you like a lackluster selection with warm, room temperature milk. The staff was very helpful and very friendly and EACH of them spoke English. My French is not great, so they were very helpful. The only bad thing about this hotel is that since it is so very close to the Eiffel Tower the other monuments of Paris are a good 2 miles away (just bring walking shoes ... if is very fun walking the streets of Paris). I would most definitely stay here again.

Viva Le France
The Hotel location was perfect for our liking. It was within a 15 minute walk of the Eiffel Tower, but not deep in the central city where it would tend to be noisier. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good english. The hotel was also a very good example of a traditional European Hotel as compared to the large chain hotels such as the Marriott or Hilton. The nearby train station (Ecole Militaire) allowed quick access to all city attractions.

Great Staff, Good Hotel
Centrally located to the Metro, and the sights we wanted to see. The Eiffel Tower is within walking distance from the Hotel. Best of all was the helpful staff. I needed to contact Visa because of a stolen credit card, and the staff assistance was outstanding. Would stay at this hotel again!! Be aware of the cost of the Hotel breakfast before eating their.
