Hotel Moulin Vert

We visited on a short weekend stay. The staff were absolutely excellent at all times, the reception - I think - was 24 hours, there was always someone there and I met a few different members of reception staff over the weekend, all of whom were SO polite and went out of their way to help. It is in a good area of Paris, we felt safe and close to the metro. Its also close to a couple of good restaurants - we didn't go as they were a little bit expensive for us, but they looked really nice. Its very practical, there is a small 'corner shop' (supermarket) with necessary things just a stones throw away and a big Monoprix about 3 minutes walk. There is also a patisserie next door to the hotel! Everything in our room was to a good standard and everything we needed was there (tv/shower gel/shampoo/soap/towels etc) and everything else available on request easily enough (hairdryer/iron). It was perfect for what we needed - a place to sleep after being out and about exploring Paris. The only thing I like to have in a hotel room is a kettle/tray of tea-bits, you do find these in most hotels I think. And also, I would have liked the breakfast to have been included - or at least cheaper than 10€ per person but overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel and room, and we both had a lovely weekend.

The lobby is deceptively well-decorated. My room was very old, and very small. No A/C which was really awful during August. General creepy feeling.

It was an old french building, and we enjoy to stay there. Neighborhood was quiet good. There is a park in front of it and it is relaxing to spend time there. That is a good hotel for the price.

The room was so tiny that you could barely move, but for two days it was fine. Location is great, metro not too far away and restaurants fine around.

Nice little hotel in a quiet but pleasant area of Paris not too far from Montparnasse. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Hotel rooms were very small but comfort OK and the staff were very friendly.

i guess it was a typical Paris hotel. Hard to find, NO hotel parking (you're on your own) very small room, outdated furnishings. A little strange having to turn in the key every time you leave the hotel. Also didn't like not being able to get a receipt at check out.

Wonderful staff. Comfortable small room was clean, bathroom great. In September, the open window cooled the room just fine. Great to be out of the tourist zone. Loved the restaurant across the street. We'll be back next trip to Paris.

A very nice desk staff, more spacious room than many I've seen, adequate closet space, bed and pillows comfortable, smallish tub but a tub nonetheless (I like a relaxing soak), a mini fridge (surprise), pleasant rooftop and street view from double casement window, quiet. There was some paint peeling in the bathroom and some tiles needed regrouting. There was nothing exceptional about the room, but it was generally pleasant. The walk from the Metro was a bit longer than I expected at 10 minutes, and the Metro stop (Alesia) was a bit far away from the attractions and sites (on the #4 line I recall, 2nd stop from the end at Port d'Orleans). Desk staff was friendly and open 24 hours, and they were helpful recommending the easiest and least expensive way to get from the hotel to the CDG airport (2 train stops and take the B line on the RER for E8,50).

The room was clean.Friendly stuff. The hotel was about 5 minutes from the metro station, just as is written on the map.The area near the hotel was friendly and quite.The room was a little bit small but it's ok for someone who wants to stay for a few days or uses the room only for basic needs. The thing that i didn't like was that the clean stuff was entering the room without knocking the door. As a conclusion i wouldn't have problem to stay again.
