Good experience
Hotel Mercure Compans Caffarelli is located in centre Toulouse. The airport bus (one-way ticket costs 5€) and the bus driving to the rugby stadium Ernest-Wallon stop by the hotel. The metro station is almost inside the hotel. A 10-minute walk will bring you to the Place du Capitole, which is the city's main square. Rugby is a religion in Toulouse, just as the cassoulet-meal. The hotel was pleasant and clean, the staff very professional and friendly. The minus points were the WiFi network (very unstable and not that easy to access) and the prices at the bar-restaurant (4,40€ for a 25cl-beer!). Breakfast was excellent but not included. 16€/pers./day is a high price. All in all it was a good experience and we will definitely come back, but we will eat in town.
