Good location for one, max. two overnights
There is certainly expecting more of a three star hotel. No amenities, very small rooms with symple facilities. No worth the (big) money.

Fantastic room
Very relaxed and comfortable, great room, helpful staff, OK breakfast, very close to main train station (so convieninet but a bit noisy). No tea tray in room but kettle provided by reception on request. Saw a website advertising swimming facilities but these are not available. Excellant for the money.

A quality hotel at a great price.
A quality hotel at a great price. Very close to the main station. Breakfast was quality and was free with my booking. I will stay here again.

Loved this hotel-located just
Loved this hotel-located just 5 minutes walk from the train station. Lovely big room, friendly staff, nice swimming pool. The buffet breakfast which was included in the price was substantial. Very reasonably priced hotel. We walked to the city centre (which was not far) but there are also trams that stop right outside the hotel if people don't fancy walking. I would definitely stay here again.

Average hotel, booked non smoking
Average hotel, booked non smoking room, but they tried to put us in a smelly smokers room, they did move us though, so that was ok. Bathroom was grubby, tile grouting very mouldy & black, water took ages to drain from bath. Fellow guests were noisy, one guest had a dog in the room that was often heard barking. Beds comfy, room adequate, no tea or coffee in room though. Mini bar not too pricy, as were drinks from reception, staff generally all helpful. Breakfast good. Close to centre and train station.

The staff at the Madison Hotel were very pleasant and helpful at all times. The room was spacious and comfortable with an excellent private bathroom.

Good value for your money. We
Good value for your money. We were lucky to get the largest room on top floor, it was quite nice. However, if you want to enjoy the whole range breakfast buffet offers, you ought to have breakfast quite early. If you travel by train, the location of this hotel is perfect for you (the hotel is located only 300 meters from "Hauptbahnhof", the main railway station). Those who travel by car might find it difficult to find a spot for their vehicle near the hotel.
