Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt

This was a terrible hotel experience. After checking into the hotel and arriving to our room, we actually considered going to another hotel although we already paid for the room. The room was tired (almost depressing) and the simplest amenities were not provided. Our room lacked washcloths and body lotion and the shampoo was combined in the same container as the body wash. For over $300 US a night, a customer expects more. Also, the hotel is not immediately connected to the airport - you will need to take a shuttle. Terrible mistake we will never make againe.

Very convinient to the airport but average hotel at luxery hotel price. Check-in is slow, breakfast is $ 38.-

I thought this hotel was over priced for the services we got. They charged for enternet use,no breakfast included with room. I would not stay here again. We had stayed at the Hotel Mercure in Schweinfurt Germany for 9 nights before this. The room was cleaner, quieter,free wireless internet and the bed was very comfortable. They offered a great breakfast with the room, for $70.00 a night less.

1- at first they assigned to me a very small room at the 9th floor, which was very disapointing, then changed to a better room at 8th floor upon my request. 2- old and not clean-look towels. 3-only the lobbyBar serves food at late night with a very limited opptions, in an AirPort hotel sapposed to serve guests (passengers) arround 24hours/day. 4- when arrived about 8PM, no porter or any body to help me with my luggage.

The beds were unconfortable and the maid wanted to come in at 6:15 AM. The location was great if you are flying out in the morning and the shuttle service was on time and dependable.

The check-in at Steigenberger took almost 30 minutes. The Hotel had no record of my Orbitz reservation, or of my having pre-paid. The staff member left the desk and returned several times, acting impatient with me, and made no effort to apologize or assure me that I would receive a room. The hotel is beautiful, and very convenient for air travelers. Overall, this place is worth the price for the convenience, but plan your meals elsewhere. The Steigenberger dinners were overpriced and ordinary. The breakfast was acceptable, but compared badly to the usual breakfast in German hotels and guesthouses.

Hotel was nice, but the single soap dispenser for everything in the bathroom was a turn off.

Good quality, clean hotel close ($10) taxi ride to airport. Hotel also has free shuttle. Extra's are expensive $20 Internet, $35 Buffet Breakfast - $15 was what it was worth. Long lines at check-in; 3 reps 25 people in line.

We only stayed at the hotel from 11pm to 5am .. The accomodations were much better than an airport bench. Comfy beds, decent showers (The water pressure at the Holiday Inn Frankfurt was better) and charged for internet (The holiday inn had free internet in the lobby and did not charge me for room access) The hamburger we ordered as a late night snack was definitely not American and not that good; fries were decent

expensive for small and cheaply furnished room
