Just ok
Staff are good, but just for 7 days we stayed in a hotel, the breakfast is always the same. The plus factors are walking distance to the shops and some historical places. The hotel is just ok.

Great Location, Walk to Famous Sights
Walking distance to all the ancient sightseeing spots in Athens. We did not bring any backpack, 'cause we can just walk back to hotel, if we missed something in our room. The staffs in this hotel are responsible and honest. My wife found she lost 300 Euro cash (one 200 Euro & one 100 Euro, we paid toll fee on the highway), while she could not remember when and where. We did not take time to look for the cash because these papers look same, and no one will be able to identify the ownership. When we walked back to our room in the late afternoon from , the phone rings in our room. It is from the video security room, inquiring if we have lost anything. I am hestated to tell them "cash", because I feel a little bit shame to tell the others lost of cash. The staff asked me to wait a few minutes for them to check in the video. Only half minute later, they called me again. This time is the owner of the hotel. He certified the amount and pieces wth me and tole me they found the cash beside my car in the hotel underground parking lot. By checking the video record, they identified the belongings. Thanks to their effots. The location was perfect. Returning the lost cashes that we did not expect to find is another pleasant experience in our trip.

Great Hotel close to Acropolis
This hotel was excellent. We only stayed for one night and only to see the Acropolis. The hotel was about 30 minutes from the airport and was a very nice hotel. It was beautiful and even had a swimming pool. There is a great rooftop bar and restaurant with an awesome view of the Acropolis, which is only about a ten minute walk. Our room was very large, clean, and comfortable. They even had a U.S. style outlet to plug in any appliances you might need. I would recommend this hotel. It is also close to Plaka where there are many shops and Greek restaurants.

Great location / Great views
Spent 2 days here staying in an Executive room with breakfast in the roof top restaurant . The location of the hotel is perfect very close to the tube and easy walking distance to the tourist area of acropolis and surrounding cafes. Breakfast in the roof top restaurant is well worth it large choice of food and the best views possible, also recommend a visit to the roof bar at night remember to take your camera. Room was very clean, good A/C and a view over the pool.

Perfect Location
Most everything within walking short distance. Views from the roof garden bar spectacular. Where else can you dine or have an evening night cap with the Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus and the Athens skyline as background? Somehow everything tastes better up there.

Great location for Acropolis & Plaka!
I have lived in Greece and know Athens pretty well - this is a great hotel if you plan to see the Acropolis and surrounding area. Very walkable - and this was a plus since, of course, there was a taxi strike during our stay. The front desk was a bit short-handed but very competent. Manny the bell captain was great and set up our airport transfer which was not an easy task during the strike. Don't miss the rooftop restaurant/bar - amazing view of the Parthenon! We stayed here on both ends of our trip to the Greek islands, one night each time. 2nd stay we had a much larger (newer) room and were given complimentary wine and fruit. Definitely request one of the larger rooms that look out onto the courtyard. Some of the rooms are very small! Overall - I would stay here again.

Short walk from hotel
Daphne's restaurant a few blocks from the hotel on the edge of the Plaza - AMAZING traditional Greek food and special atmosphere. The hotel front desk clerk recommended we go there and we would definitely go back. Not a tourist spot - this is the real thing for high end Greek food. The restaurant was reviewed with high ratings in the NY Times - apparently the only Athens restaurant mentioned.

fabulous stay
First three nights of our honeymoon in Greece were spent here in Athens. The pool area and service was awesome, the concierge all spoke perfect English and had great recommendations and made all arrangements for us. The breakfast was unspeakably plentiful and delicious. The rooftop restaurant would be better for drinks than dinner, and if you are eating make a reservation early because even if you get a seat they treat you a little snobbishly.
