Live amongst the locals in Yau Ma Tei at reasonable rates
This might be the best deal in Hong Kong. Dorsett Seaview Hotel is located in the mixed residential and commercial neighborhood of Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon. The local flavor makes it a terrific place to stay for travelers who want to experience the real Hong Kong. The hotel itself has been renovated recently, which means that rooms are bright and new. Simple room comforts make up for their compact size, especially for guests who plan to spend most of their time exploring Hong Kong.

After their renovation in May/
After their renovation in May/ June, the rooms are great. Looks nice, clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay at Dorsett Seaview if I am going to HK again. However, the sewage smell outside the hotel is bad but this has nothing to do with the Hotel. :)

The room just renovated, small
The room just renovated, small but new and clean. Bathroom is better than I expected. Hotel is near MRT and a lot of food shop around here. One bad thing is if you deposit your luggage you need to pay to bell boy with no receipt.

Overall very pleasant stay, only 5 mins walk to mtr entrance. Yaumatei you can walk to mongkok etc if you want not far and good location. Staff helpful, room size adequate, equipped sufficiently. I would stay here again.

Although the room is small but
Although the room is small but the facilities are new and well maintained. The staff were respectful and entertained the guest well. The location is strategic for shopping of jewelries and garments. There are many restaurants nearby which served good food and affordable. Still prefer to stay in my next visit to Hongkong.

Overall look clean but some bite
Overall look clean but some bite spot in my leg after my wake up, maybe due to the matress cleanliness. Very strategic location for transport (MTR & bus stop-include to airport), shopping as well!
