Annual Asia Trip
Great Tsim Sha Tsui Hotel
Staff was very competent, prompt, and helpful. Outside of the cleaning staff their grasp of English was very satisfactory. The location was quite good; close to knutsford terrace for dining/going out, and MTR was within 3-4 blocks. I believe the place has recently been renovated; everything is in good shape. The gym/pool/locker facilities were impressive.

Good business class hotel
This was certainly a decent hotel that I would stay at again, but I would not have given it a five star category. The rooms are more than adequate but not phenomenal. They were small and not detailed with all the little amenities that make a hotel "first class". Location was good: close to the MTR and little shops of Kowloon, and not too too far from the Harbor View and museum. Concierge and staff are not particularly friendly or knowledgeable but I suspect this is true everywhere in HK. English abilities are limited and the dialogues can thus be skewed. Best part about this hotel? It's restaurants!! Michelin rated chef at Cuisine Cuisine whips up excellent Hongkong fare. Desserts are an endless array from a confection store dedicated exclusively to cater your sweet craving. Breakfast and lunch buffets are generous at the Yamm. This part, it's restaurants, I would say was first rate. Overall experience? Still excellent and would certainly recommend. But if you're looking for a truly luxurious 5-star hotel experience and have the money to spend, there are others, e.g. The Peninsula or Four Seasons.

All you could ask for in a perfect location
The Mira is at first aesthetically pleasing and then wraps the rest of your senses in modern comfort. The rooms are very comfortable and not lacking any of the conveniences or high-tech electronics of a 5 star hotel. The staff is friendly, helpful, courteous, and fluent in English. The Mira is located in the center of one of the premier shopping districts in Hong Kong and a short walk from the ferry and the subway system. My next stay in Hong Kong will definitely be at the Mira.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
A trip up the Peak Tram is a must for the most amazing views of Hong Kong. I suggest going in late afternoon and staying until after sundown. The ferry to the island is a 10 minute walk and the Tram is another 10 minutes from the ferry (it's uphill though). You won't be disappointed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Very clean, great service and best of all the swimming pool / spa was a great way to unwind after a long day of shopping. Also had a massage at Mira Spa which was fantastic. Facilities in the room were also great, there is a dock for you to put your ipod in and it plays music through speakers in the bathroom. Wireless internet also a bonus. Great location and hotel facilities, great service from staff- would definitely stay here again!
