My review of The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel
The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, DUBLIN, Ireland was a comfortable, modern (style) hotel. The staff was extremly friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but more than adequate. A bit off the beaten track though, that with the road construciton did make getting there less than fun.

Best stay, outside the city center
Housekeeping was very friendly and had some of the best service i have ever encountered. The Reception was very helpful and exceeded all of our expectations.

Loved our trip and the hotel was great!
We arrived at 9am and check-in wasn't until 2 but they got our room ready and let us check in at no additional charge. We asked the staff all sorts of questions about getting around, where to eat, where to go and they had great tips and were so nice. They truely wanted to help and were interested in our experience. I found that most of the irish people were this way, just really friendly. The hotel was super clean and had beautiful paintings in the lobby. Food was good we ordered room service 1 night. They had live local folk music at the bar downstairs one night (close to st. pattys day). Loved it!

Short walk from hotel
The bartender at Louis Fitz told us to go to Copper Face Jacks in Dublin. 1000 People there on a Monday night. Another hotel staff told us to go to the Tram instead of talking a cab to downtown. Very close walk and saved us $25 euro there and back. So just hop on going towards the point and get off on Jervas. If you drive and are not sure about the roundabouts just stay on until you know which direction to go. Took us a few tries and then it was super easy. We drove the country. Went through Dublin, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Galway, Belfast and saw as much as we could along the way. Finally, my favorite restraunt on the trip was the Shaq next to Temple Bar in Dublin. Soooo good. When we were near the causeway we ate at Mollys restraunt in Ballycastle and it was really good too.

great family vacation
We were out sight seeing everyday. We enjoyed sitting in the bar at night. The styaff was just great. they were very helpful about educating us on their customs.

Clean, Clean, Clean
Great location, not too far from red cow luas stop. And a short walk to tallaght. Right along bus routes so getting there is a breeze. Take Dublin Coach to the hotel for only 5 euro.

Very nice hotel
This is a very nice hotel which we booked at an excellent price. Our room was very spacious and clean. It's off the road a bit so it's quiet. Our beds were very comfortable, and we had a little refrigerator in the room. The front desk staff were helpful with directions. The LUAS station is about a 15 or 20 minute walk away, so you can just park your car at the hotel (no charge) and use public transportation.

Excellent value for money. Facility to book their private bus for transport to Luas line (tram linking the hotel directly to the centre of Dublin). Return fares on Luas are approx. €4.00 - great value.

Very nice hotel but a bit far
Very nice hotel but a bit far from town. There is nothing near where the hotel is. Its a 15min walk to the Luas (tram to town) and about a 20-25 min ride in. But a great place to stay if you dont mind this.
