Terrible
There was nothing good about this hotel. We were extremely surprised that it was a Resency. When we tried to walk down the main stairway to the lobby, we could not see. At 9:00 PM, we had to find the light switch to turn the lights on. Most of the bulbs were out anyway. We went to the restaurant to get dinner. We were not waited on for 45 minutes. No one asked if we wanted a drink or gave us a menu. Finally a waiter came with a dish of French fries. He said we ordered them. I'm sure they were ordered by the people that got fed up and left. We know they were serving food, because we saw them walking away from the kitchen. We left and walked down the block for dinner. Then the next morning at breakfast, they seemed to be annoyed that we were even there. Good thing it was a buffet. They were too busy getting ready for a tour bus. I think that was the same problem with dinner. Oh, and when it rained the night we were there, the room leaked!

Updating required
The room , and specially the bathroom needs to be updated, there were humidity signs on the bathroom ceiling. I have been in lower budget hotels with more modern and better maintained rooms. Customer service was good.

A trip back home to see Family
As it was a trip back home, we had a very busy schedule, fitting in different members of my family. Everything was great except one thing, which, actually was quite important to us. The hot water for the showers was on a timer. We managed to secure a 2 hour gap between visits so came back to the hotel to freshen up, only to find out that it was turned off. I was disappointed as we were not advised of this, and as our schedule was so busy, had to leave for our next visit without having had a shower for 2 days! It was a 'big' thing at the time, my partner wasn't happy at all! Apart from that, everything was great, if you can handle the no hot water at certain times!

Great value and amenities
Very good location if you are flying in on a short trip. The location is perfectly situated between airport and city. Public transport is really easy and the drivers are helpful. Staff was very pleasant and they allowed for an early check in (HUGE plus!!!). The hotel is super charming with a great pool and hot tub which should be open later. This was a big amenity for me so check times of operation if it's important. The rooms were nice but the wallpaper, carpet, bed, and bedding needs updating. The bedding at the least would be a cheap and easy way to make the room a lot better, but I'm a traveler who often stays at hostels and pays more than this overall great place. The bar is really nice and usually quite full with decent bar food and reasonable prices. Buffet breakfast was also a good deal. I would highly re omens this place to someone who likes a good value, great amenities and are NOT fussy about updated and pristine rooms.

Time-saving tip:
Not Applicable
If you plan on public transport and get confused at all, don't hesitate to ask bus drivers or anyone next to you. Everyone is super friendly and usually helpful. Go to main bus downtown on O' Connel to get schedules, maps, and passes

Return Visit
Our first stay was great so we booked 2 more nights at the end of our trip. Was a completely different experience. Wifi barely worked in the room. Ordering room service was an unnecessarily difficult ordeal (was told to call back twice & they didn't have a proper menu available. Turns out food was terrible anyway.) They put us in a room with no heat, we were changed promptly, but was just completely unlike our first, pleasant stay.

Close to Airport & City Center
Room was very outdated, but extremely inexpensive considering other options. Pool, hot tub & gym are great pluses. Is a 10 min drive to the airport or the city center, less than 15 euros depending on where you're going. Wifi worked pretty well in the rooms. Parking is 6 euros per day.
