Marconi Hotel Milan

The staff was very helpful. The place is a gem and the location fabulous. I would stay here again in heartbeat.

Stayed in late December 2009. Off season rates were outstanding. The complete renovation should be done by early January, at which point I would expect them to be re-rated as a 4 star. The room (601) was extremely spacious for northern Italy, the staff was friendly and also spoke very adequate English. The completely new bathrooms are opulent (even by Beverly Hills standards), the water was hot with strong pressure. Good location--About 300 meters from the central station and close to metro--trams also available right outside. The breakfast was full and generous--plenty of protein items--not just a few rolls. I am a tough grader and was completely taken away by the over whelming value received. A great location in Milan for sightseeing in the city, or day trips to the lakes.

Excellent location, within easy walking distance from the train station and metro and convenient to the major attractions. Surrounded by several very nice restaurants. This hotel offers "Old World" charm with modern updates. The bathrooms are large, modern and extremely clean. The rooms are spacious, elegant, quiet and spotless. I would recommend bringing an electrical adapter. Fabulous breakfast in an elegant dinning room. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel twice already, and I had an excellent experience both times. The hotel is located conveniently close to the train station. the personnel was very helpful and polite. the room and the bathroom were very very clean. no noise from other rooms. the decor is not luxurious, but nice. tv had many channels. they offer an excellent breakfast in the morning, that includes different types of cakes/cookies, the usual cereals, and cheese/ham/salami and bread.

It was really close to the train station and still technically walking distance to the center of the city. Pretty nice area with lots of restaurants. I came from the train station and walked everywhere, although there are trollies and subways all very close to the hotel. The room was great, high ceilings, wood floors and a fabulous marble bathroom. For the price this place was amazing. The staff was very nice and maid service too. I would definitely stay there again.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is very close to the main train station, about 1km from city centre (walkable down main streets), quiet and secure, and has a large lounge room- type entrance area where there are newspapers, a bar, plenty of comfy seating and internet access. The rooms are very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The staff were very helpful at all times.

Would definitely come here again. Great quality hotel and reasonably priced in good location (subway close by). Generous breakfast each morning. Bathroom felt luxurious and large compared to other hotels

Excellent place - 5 minutes from central train station and 2 minutes from Metro station, so fantastic gateway to every place. Excellent service except WiFi Internet which cost additional money, usually this service done complimentary in other hotels.

Pleasant conveniently located quiet well presented hotel for all purposes. Very handy to all transport and cages restaurants.
