Our new favorite in Rome!
What a pleasant surprise! We have always avoided the area around Termini, but this hotel has definitely changed our minds. It is literally a 5 minute walk...great for early trains. I think it was the quietest room with the most comfortable bed and pillows that we have found when traveling. We will absolutely stay here again.

Big rooms!
We had spent a week in Tuscany and wanted to see Rome on the way home. Perfect location for going to all the attractions, close to the train station , close to Hop on Hopoff bus lines. Associates were friendly and helpful. Rooms were much larger than I had expected from everone telling me how small rooms are in Europe. Several good restuarants close by and found an open market 3 bloicks away with excellent prices. Overall a very good stay[...]

We had only a short time in Rome but the front desk helped us make the best use of it by their knowledge of resources.

Wonderful Hotel
The location was great. Three blocks from the train station. The room was very small but clean and the bathroom was nice. We were only there for one night before our cruise. I loved the breakfast.

I might not be a good person to get an opinion from as I tell it like I see it and don't sugar coat it and its just the way I see it. We were told by our cab driver and a couple of other people that this was a bad part of town. We did not spend that much time in this area but had no problems with the area. The rooms were small but were clean. Our traveling friends room did not have a wall or enclosure for the shower and was just open...We tried to unload as many euros as possible before our return so as not to lose money having to convert them again. The front desk would not let me use a credit card for anything less than 25.00 and I found that out the morning of our check out. The previous night my wife and I wanted a drink but the bartender said that his machine to process the card was not workin...I think now that I know why as he felt that we would not spend the 25.oo limit. The front desk did what they had to do as far as I am concerned but I don't know what their lifestyle requires of them. Other people that we had dealings with were certainly friendly and acted at least like they enjoyed our visit. We could not charge any camera or phone batteries as there was no outlet for such items. The breakfast was ok but I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it for friends but it served the purpose while we were there Out of the other people that we had recommended this hotel to only one had a plus feeling about it....

Not a 4 star hotel
This hotel was "okay"... not great, but not terrible. The location is close to the train terminal from the airport, but not close to ancient Rome or most of the Baroque Rome sites (i.e. Trevi Fountain, Pantheon), so whether or not the location is good depends on your preference. The staff wasn't overwhelmingly polite, but I wouldn't call them rude either. Mostly, they were just business-like. Don't be fooled by the "rooftop garden" which says... "From the Roof Garden, everyone has the opportunity to admire a spectacular view of the city, in particular the domes which lie distinct from the buildings." That's simply not true. The rooftop "garden" is simply a slab of cement... that's it. No benches, no tables, no lighting, socializing, etc. The view up there looks "away" from the city, so there's nothing to see except the building across the street. The rooms were clean, but I probably still won't go back to this hotel.

Close to Everything....
Great location and room always clean. Room was very small but who wants to stay in room all day. Can walk to pretty much anything but the metro is right there.(and so is the train station) No need to cab it anywhere. Don't expect a smile from Italians but the rest of staff, foreign, were great. Didn't feel afraid at all. Next to opera, museum and lots of food. Would stay there again in a minute.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Beware of the "sit down fee." If you sit down to eat, expect to see a fee on your bill. Yes, a cover charge for eating there. We paid 9 euros just to sit down, (about $15 bucks!) Didn't have a band or entertainment or nothing. This is in additon to your food. Ask before you eat. Some places don't charge it but most do.

nice place
Room was small but spotless clean. We typicly stay in W, Westin or Hyatt in US. The price of highend hotes in Rome were just too much so we settled for this place. So do not expect W but great rooms and service with nice free breakfast. do not expect Hyatt type lobby and you will be fine

Wonderful place to stay with a family
This hotel is centrally located and a perfect place to take a family. The air conditioned rooms are spotless and well appointed and the staff very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Located near the train station, all of Rome and Italy are a stones throw from your doorstep. Even though the building is older, it has modern amenities for everyone. The building is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for in Rome. All of the historic sites are within walking distance and we enjoyed them both during the day and night. I was especially impressed with the local food options.

Short walk from hotel
It was an amazing trip to say the least. We wandered one evening down toward the ancient ruins and enjoyed viewing them as they were lit up at night. What beauty. We returned the next day to tour them and learn even more about the history. A must for today's family.

Comfortable hotel in great location
The hotel is very convenient to the Termini station for train and metro travel; making it easy to visit the major attractions Rome has to offer. There are several restaurants nearby. The buffet breakfast is okay, but nothing special. The wi-fi (E 10/ 3 hrs)did not work in our room. The air conditioning worked wonderfully.
