The Residenza Ki is a small, family run hotel located in the historical center of Rome, which is equipped with ten rooms that have been completely renovated and are well-appointed with all creature comforts. The Residenza is located in Via Rasella; a historical street situated just 50 meters from the Trevi Fountain and 100 meters from the Spanish Steps, making it the ideal place to stay in Rome. The Residenza is extremely quiet, even though it lies right in the heart of the historic center, surrounded by attractions and monuments that symbolize the exceptional artistic beauty of the Eternal City. Situated in a charming street between Piazza Barberini and Trevi Fountain, only two minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, the location is ideal for sightseeing, shopping, visiting museums, and walking about this wonderful city. The hotel property features a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, where guests will immediately feel at home and can experience the best in Italian hospitality. The hotel provides amenities like airport transfer 50 euro, currency exchange, doctor on call, internet access- wireless, non smoking rooms, parking facilities at cost 35 €, pets allowed, pets allowed, reception till 8:00 p.m, room service, safe deposit box and tour desk.

The hotel Residenza Ki was an outstanding B&B- a 2 star hotel with a 5 star feel. Our room was perfect- the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was double that of our cruise the week prior, and the staff was friendly and so helpful- the location was PERFECT, just down the street from the Trevi and a couple blocks away from the Spanish Steps, we were able to see it ALL because of this outstanding location.

Good Location, poor hotel

small bathroom. If you weigh more than 180 lbs you will not fit into the shower. Rust and dirty glue in and around the shower.

Recommended for the price

For the cost of this bed and breakfast, it was well worth the money. The staff provided some of the best service I have ever received. In short, five-star service for a three-star price. The location was great and very close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Overall the room we stayed in was just average (and the shower not so great), but the cost, service and location definitely made up for it. From hanging around the hotel, it sounds like the other rooms were a step up. We walked in without a reservation, and they provided the last room available, so the room we received may not be indicative of the other rooms. In summary, I would definitely go back to this bed and breakfast.

Be sure to ask the front desk for directions to the better dinning areas. The food in Rome was incredible, but there are certain neighborhoods that will provide a better dinning experience.

Location isn't everything

Hotel entrance is a doorway on a dark back street. Rooms on 2nd & 3rd floors-no lift.Stairway shared with residents on upper floors. Small reception at another hotel at end of street. Only 3 tables for breakfast so had to queue. Fridge in room so noisy it kept us awake. Suitable only for backpackers and students!
