Ten Day Vacation
It was a place to stay on the budget. Do not let the reviews fool you it is not located in the center of Rome. The hotel is located in the most northern part of the city, I recommend you google map the address. Also the WiFi is not free and does not work well unless your sitting the lobby and I regretted purchasing the WiFi. The breakfast was great for the price with cappacinnos and lattes at no additional charge. Expect to walk the train station is a half mile away. A basic holiday inn blows this place out of the water.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Purchase the Metro Pass it allows unlimited use of the public transportation that includes buses, trains, and subways. The public transportation works great. Do not buy guided tours as the train and buses stop at all the sites and attractions.

Best 3 star hotel ever
We stayed in this hotel while visiting Rome. The staff spoke pretty well English, were incredibly friendly and provided awesome service. The rooms were nicely decorated and equipped very comfortably. The train station is right down the road with direct access right into Rome. Call ahead to secure a shuttle from the airport to the hotel or else you'll end up paying a lot of money to get there.

Be sure to check the train schedules before your trip and have maps ready. Also remember there might be a general strike on Monday or Friday and the city trains shut down until 5 PM

Roma Point Hotel
Finding the hotel was a horrible experience. After taking the metro and then the train, there was no indications as to where the hotel was. Since there are no sidewalks on the street where the hotel was located, we had to walk on the street with cars whizzing by and no margins for error on their part. Took us over two hours of wandering and asking folks for us to accidentally stumble across one small sign pointing left off of the freeway-like offramp. When we finally figured out the hotel location, we found a relatively safe route to the hotel. Take the Metro Linea A to FLAMINIO station and take the train to Du Ponti and exit the station from the Viterbo side downthe stairway on the left side of the platform as you descend from the train. At the end of the path, take the first left onto an alleyway behind the buildings and walk until the first left towards Via Flamina. Looks like an uphill climb to the onramp of a small freeway. Cross the freeway-like street to the other alleyway. There are a bunch of buildings to the left that are being constructed. Turn right and keep going towards the banner for the Roma Point Hotel. Check in@ front desk and get the key. The room we had was nice. Everything was relatively new. We had a queen-sized bed with a desk and chair. The room had hardwood floors and the bathroom was nice as well. Staff was great! Buffet for breakfast. Ham, proscuitto, juice, cereal, milk, cheese, fruit, yogurt, croissant, lots of tarts and pasteries, coffee (made to order), and tea. The hotel was great but the location was bad. Internet was paid per hour (not free).

Make sure that flight is within the hours of operation for the public transit. Costs an arm and a leg to get a ride to the airport from the hotel.

Great Price for the Location!
When we arrived the hotel had a water main break and couldn't accommodate us. They found a room for us for one night, paid for it and paid for the taxi ride to and from the hotel. When we checked in the next day, not only was the room terrific, we were also greeted with a bottle of champaigne with a nice note. The staff at this hotel is outstanding - they speak good english and were extremely helpful. They have off-the-street, fenced-in parking for free (a real plus in and around Rom) and the breakfast was great as well.

This hotel is just outside Rome - a short walk to the metro station. You can buy your metro ticket at the hotel. There is only one restaurant close by and it is closed on Sundays - plan accordingly.

Super 3* hotel!
Wij komen in ieder geval terug!
