Ancient Venice convent now a quiet retreat, near St. Mark’s Square
The Santa Marina Hotel Venice is in two adjoining buildings that once served as a convent. Guests appreciate the hotel as a quiet retreat from the more crowded tourist areas, in a central neighborhood between the Rialto Bridge and the Church of Saints John and Paul, easy walking distance from most popular Venice landmarks. Red and white marble flooring, Murano glass and dark wood panels create a warm, classical atmosphere. In the summer, enjoy breakfast on the hotel's terrace with a view of Santa Marina Square.

The Santa Marina Hotel Venice is in a quiet neighborhood on Santa Marina Square, convenient to but removed from the crowds surrounding St. Mark’s Square. While offering easy access to the better known attractions of Venice, the neighborhood has its own cultural treasures, including the Church of Saints John and Paul, the Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, the Church of Santa Maria Formosa and the Teatro Malibran. Marco Polo once lived a two-minute walk from the hotel.

Trés bon séjour à Venise

L'hôtel est situé idéalement, proche de tous les points stratégiques de Venise à moins de 5 mm du Rialto et à moins de 10 mn de la Piazza San Marco, sur une place agréable avec une pasticerria en face avec de bons produits et super chocolat chaud. le seul bémol : chambre située dans l'annexe de l’hôtel, odeur des égouts...Sinon agréable séjour.

Un hotel bien placé et calme

Hôtel de très bon niveau, bien placé avec des chambres confortables et bien décorées. Petit déjeuner complet et varié dans un très beau salon. Environnement très calme et personnel accueillant et compétent. Un seul bémol sur la douche dont l'installation aurait besoin d'être revue. Pour le reste, rien à redire. Nous étions dans une annexe de l'hôtel qui se trouve sur la place ce qui nous donnait l'impression de loger en appartement et c'est bien agréable !

Un petit hotel sympa

J'ai séjourné durant 3 nuits dans cette hotel, idéalement placé pour visiter Venise (à 2 pas du Rilato et de la place Saint Marc...). Très propre petitdéj Pa smal.

venise encore

Excellent séjour, hotel très correct, personnel sympa, multilingues, chambre très calme (dans l'annexe) Bref un sans faute même si ce n'est pas vraiment un 4 étoiles ça vaut le coup rapport prix et situation. De toutes façons Venise c'est magique, go go go!!

comme partout il faut s'éloigner des zones trop touristiques, Venise reste cher mais bon c un plaisir et rien n'est simple pour les commercants dans cette ville perdue sur l'eau....

Hotel très propre, très bien situé

Hotel très propre, très bien situé (5 mn du Rialto et 10 à 15 de la place Saint Marc) accueil sympathique et en français. Très bon petit déjeuner. Seul inconvénient quand on est logé dans l'annexe (à 50 m du bâtiment principal): il n'y a pas d'ascenseur et quand on est au 3ème étage de cet immeuble ancien c'est pénible pour les personnes agées ou ayant des problèmes

hotel bien situé, près de la station

hotel bien situé, près de la station de vaporeto Rialto. Accueil charmant , chambres confortables.Prix raisonnable en basse saison mais attention il peut flamber très facilement!
