Great price for a very clean and new hotel in Tokyo. Good location, about 5-6 minute walk to major subway station. Rooms are small, no fitness center and limited food option at hotel, but a great hotel if you are not going to spend a lot of time in the room. Bonus, free internet

This hotel was fantastic! very clean, location was good, 2 min walk to restaurants, 4 minute walk to "Akasaka mitsuke" subway, which is about 10-15 minutes from downtown Tokyo and costing around 190 yen. Its probably easier to get a taxi to here if its your first night, because figuring out the subway lines is best done without heavy bags! We took the taxi, and it cost us about 1800 yen, but that was because of the 20% surcharge after 6pm.The room was nice, good view of the park across the road. Not massive but comfortable. Breakfast is very average and probably not worth the money I paid... The service at the front desk was fantastic, some of the most dedicated staff I have ever met... One particular gentleman worked for close to 4 hours trying to organise an english speaking SCUBA Dive INSTRUCTOR for me, and trust me its not easy... and even organised a side trip to Mt. Fuji, booking buses and connecting trains to my hotel. Certainly made it worth the money I paid for the room.

Not a bad place at reasonable rates, carpets and room a bit scruffy. People at front nice as usually bt very very slow. If you need to be in this area, convenient but not worthwhile going if you need to be on the other end of town

Très bon rapport prix/emplacement/qualité
Nous avons choisi l'hôtel Monterey Akasaka pour sa localisation centrale et nous avons été très satisfaits. Des chambres petites mais très confortables, un personnel attentif, à quelques pas du métro en plein coeur de Central Tokyo. Un quartier très agréable autour de l'hôtel avec petits restaurants et supérettes. Le quartier de Shibuya n'est qu'à 10 minutes en métro et les plus courageux peuvent même se promener à pied jusqu'à Omotesando et ses boutiques de couturiers. Un très bon choix pour un hôtel calme après la frénésie des rues de Tokyo.

Nettes, modernes Hotel zum angemessenen Preis. Die Lage ermöglicht direkten Zugang zur U-Bahn und entsprechend lassen sich die Key Views bestens erreichen. Leider kein WLAN, weder im Zimmer noch in der Lobby, dafür aber LAN.
