Great location, huge room, great work out room for Japan standards

The location was perfect, just a few hundred meters away from the japan rail/subway hub of Shinagawa. Stayed in three different hotels in this trip and this room was the biggest with the best bath (full marble with separate bath and shower). The grounds are surrounded by a beautiful traditional garden and nice green space on three sides of hotel...so rare in Tokyo. Wasn't easy to find a hotel with decent cardio equipment and although not a huge workout room, very clean, well attended and good equipment. Only downside was dated decor and furniture. Cleanliness and service great, would stay there again in a second. Very close to Asano Family Temple and a bite from Micky D's to remember home.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

There are a few coffee shops in the area to get a real cuppa, down the road and left from the hotel (Tully's), across from shinagawa station next to the McDonalds, or at the front entrance to the station itself.
