Sleek lines and handsome furniture bring contemporary flair to rooms at Casa Dorada Los Cabos. Espresso-colored media cabinets, headboards and nightstands pair well with fine bedding in subtle beige and white, while tropical fish-themed artwork adds a bright pop above beds. Lavish suites and penthouses spoil with extra space for cooking and dining, from gourmet granite- and stainless-steel-equipped kitchens to roomy dining tables. Jacuzzis and expansive oceanfront terraces top off the luxury.Dining
Casa Dorada Los Cabos pours on the ambiance at its lounge and three restaurants. From 12 Tribes, a seaside boite specializing in fresh seafood, diners soak up ocean views and sunsets. The eatery also holds prestige as being one of just two Mexican restaurants featured in the global restaurant guide of Black Ink -- Centurion's members-only publication. Maydan, the oceanfront beach club, captivates with live music, open-air and indoor dining, and catches brought directly from Medano Beach.Recreation

Absolutely beautiful
Casa Dorada exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, the room was gorgeous, the views were stunning, the pools were lovely and the margaritas were delicious. It was also very family-friendly. The location was ideal as well. Many restaurants were very close, the marina was right down the street and town was only a few blocks away.

Esquina bar across the street from the main entrance of the hotel was outstanding. The salads are excellent and the mushroom pizza with truffle oil was out of this world.

As close to perfect as can be!
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Close to many shops and restaurants. Within walking distance to Marina as well. The rooms were amazing. We had the one bedroom suite which has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and bedroom. Living room and bedrooms opens up to a gorgeous balcony with breathtaking views. We loved this place and will be returning!

Great place ... but Music gives headache!
Great views, comfort, pool and beach ... all service very good and so nice. But the music and voices on a speaker ruins the atmosphere ... it should be calm, quiet, peaceful and listening to the waves.

A House of Gold
Stayed here from Sunday to Friday during mid-July. Hot 90's weather is surprisingly tolerable (Las Vegas feels hotter). The hotel, rooms, grounds, view, service, and location is amazing. Debating between both Pueblo Bonito hotels next door and felt that the quality of Casa Dorada was worth the price difference. Swim up bar has excellent food and daily drink/food deals (2 for 1). Not your party atmosphere, more relaxing with families and couples, a few kids. Both pools are nice, the dark-blue color pool has tiles that can use some work, and i believe they are shutting the pool down in September for maintenance. Pools are large and provide plenty of space for guests. Go down some stairs, and you're at the beach, awesome. Mango deck noise isn't as bad as other reviews make it seem. 12 Tribes restaurant located on the grounds is expensive. Food is good, but not worth the price. We only ate there once, with so many choices to dine, why eat there when you have MANY other options that are cheaper and tastier. $30 fajita buffet??? No thanks. Even at $20, that sounds a bit pricey. Always felt safe and staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. No free wifi; and overpriced for use. If close enough to the Mango Deck, you might get a small free wifi signal. Didn't see any internet-cafes nearby. This actually was the only downside of this hotel. Go out into the city for restaurants. Always felt safe, lots of tourists around, and found a lot of great places to eat. We would definitely return here!!

Try the restaurants in the city, they're amazing! No need to do the restaurants on the resort, not worth it.

Amazing location, service, and proximity
This hotel was amazing! The room was clean and beautiful. We always roam around the city when we travel and what was great was that we had a beautiful beach at our footsteps and when we wanted to go into town, it was a 10 minute walk to get to places at the Marina or all the bars and restaurants. Also, every morning was the view of El Arco from your window! The service was amazing, from the pool bar, to room service, maid service, and the concierge. I have already recommended this hotel to some friends. If you're going to Cabo, you should really consider this place.

Short walk from hotel
I can't remember the name of this bar but there are two of them on the main road where all the bars and restaurants are. One of the places is called the world's smallest bar, and I can't remember the other, but it looks exactly the same. 1$ shooters of Tequila...everyday and every night!

Perfect Honeymoon getaway!
We stayed for 8 days and 7 nights at Casa Dorada for our honeymoon in November. The staff was accommodating and greeted us at every opportunity. Any questions we had from local restaurants to excursions were answered directly! The room had an impeccable view of the arch and Lover's Beach which were only a 5 minute water taxi ride! While we were there we rode ATV's, went zip-lining, snorkling, and visited lover's beach! Casa Dorada set all of the activities up for us as well as provided transportation! The best vacation ever!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Dorada. We were upgraded to an executive suite with a kitchen, living room area, large bedroom and jacuzzi tub. We had 2 balconies that looked out to the ocean and pool area. Was an amazing room and fantastic vacation!

Beautiful location, beautiful hotel, amazing stay!!!
From the moment we walked in and were greeted with welcome drinks, to the complimentary upgrade, to the staff and location, there wasn't a single thing I would have changed about this place. It was absolutely incredible from the moment we got there until we left. The staff was courteous and the resort itself felt truly luxurious. I will most definitely stay at Casa Dorada on my next trips to Cabo, without a doubt.

On our last night we randomly came across Edith's, and it was a beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious. A little pricey, but it's literally steps away from the front entrance. Make some time to visit.
