Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa All Inclusive

My husband and I loved this resort! It was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon! The staff is so friendly and from the moment you enter the property they strive to meet your every need! The food was excellent, and there were so many choices! We enjoyed everything we ate and with several restaurants on site, we stayed for 6 days and did not get bored. We spent a lot of our time relaxing on the beach but there are lots of organized activities (for both adults and children). Making it a fun place whatever your vacation objective is. To be honest, we had really high expectations and they exceeded them all!

They have everything for everyone. You can swi with Dolphins or have some drink at the pool or at the beach. Very nice. Only problem was Air conditoner, it was not properly working not in our room but good amount of room. People were complaining about the same. I hope they will fix the problem.

This place was really remarkable. For a luxury hotel, the price was competitive, but by no means cheap. However, in my case, I got what I paid for. When my girlfriend and I arrived, we were greeted by many friendly employees. They really make you feel special. They gave us free Champaign and a cookie before we even checked-in. The room was sweet. Our balcony view of the ocean scored major points with my girlfriend. The bed was one of those semi-covered 4-poster kinds--very cool. The bathroom was also luxurious, but I dont have the vocabulary to describe it. The place has 5 inclusive restaurants. The seafood place was great. The Parisian buffet was lackluster (think 1 notch better than Golden Corral), but primarily because everything else was so extraordinary. The wait staff and the swim-up bar people were super friendly. In fact, the entire hotel was staffed by people who make you feel welcome. I've seen something similar on cruises, but not quite this level at a hotel. It would be a great place for a honeymoon or anniversary. Its also kid-friendly, due to the access to many beaches and pools on the hotel's property. Plus, they have their own dolphin show, where you can pay to swim with the dolphins. One last thing, this place is just a 5 minute walk from the big clubs like Dady'o and Bulldog. Conclusion: impressive place and a good value for a luxury hotel.

Dreams was a perfect place to relax. I stayed in the club tower and it is worth the upgrade. The tower pool is more quiet, more relaxing and every room in the tower has a FULL ocean view! The view is spectacular, overlooking the Gazebo, where we saw 3 romantic sunset weddings during our stay; we did not need to leave the resort at all. Although we did a very short, 5 minute walk to shop in the air conditioned mall which certainly was better than the humid market place with vendors bothering you. The food was ok for all inclusive. Eat at Himatsu and Oceana, the seafood and sushi is great. The service is great, everyone was very helpful. The all inclusive drinks were tasty but lacking in the alcohol so we supplemented with shots! Did an excursion to Tulum, amazing beach and the ruins are on a cliff for dynamic photos, I would do it again. Also did the snorkeling at Xel-Ha water park, kids would love it but I had a better snorkeling trip at Dreams. Take the 1 hour trip about 1 mile out to sea, I saw way more fish and things than at Xel-Ha. I would definitely come back.

I just returned from my vacation at Dreams Cancun. It was the first time I visited this hotel and this was the best trip I ever experienced. We felt pampered from the minute we arrived to the time of checkout. Upon check in we were greeted and offered cold, refreshing, herbal infused cloths and a glass of champagne. Our room was simple but beautiful. Marble flooring. Generous shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and sunscreen. Incense in the bathroom. Plenty of hot water. A sitting area and a rather comfortable deck. The room was stocked with beer, soda, juice and water daily. 24 hour included room service. Our view was of the pool, ocean and the dolphins. It was magical to see the dolphins at all times. I also swam with the dolphins which I highly recommend. The food was fabulous. Multiple choices on site. I recommend Himitsu (great atmosphere, awesome sushi chef), World Cafe (varying buffet of delicious eats for everyone), the Oceana (must order the lobster tail. It is extra $$ but well worth it. The waiter brings the plate with a fire on it, the lobster tail is huge and sumptuous). We didn't get to eat at the Seaside Grill (looked beautiful, a little more secluded and intimate) and did not go the Paloma Bonita. The drinks were fabulous-exciting to try each new Drink of the Day. The wait staff and entertainment crew were amazing. So much to do. Spanish lessons, tennis lessons, Salsa lessons, yoga, snorkeling, volleyball, soccer, water games, etc, etc, etc. You could do as much as you wanted or as little as you wanted. The resort is so big you could be lying quietly at the beach or in the midst of the social fun. Each evening they offered entertainment (Mayan dancers, magician, hypnotist, karoke, etc). The spa was the best I'd ever experienced. I had a massage and a pedicure. Go before your treatments to enjoy the beauty of the spa. The hotel had the most amazing lighting. The employees seemed to truly enjoy their job. We followed the recommendations of fellow reviewers who brought $100 in $1 denominations and tipped generously. This was a sublime experience, we are already planning our return trip.

We had such an amazing stay. The hotel and resort were absolutely beautiful and there were hundreds of people working around the clock to keep everything pristine and beautiful. The staff was exceptionally friendly and treated us like we were welcome house guests. Because it's such a large resort, we never ran out of things to do and places to swim all the time avoiding crowding. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and very well maintained. This was the most relaxed and enjoyable holiday I've had in quite some time and we very much look forward to the chance to return.

I felt that it was a very good value. The staff was great....even better when tipped. The food was better than expected. The top shelf bar was not quite there but OK. I was expecting a better pool facility or at least another one. Do not plan on playing tennis. Overall, a lot to offer for the money.

DREAMS IS MY MOST FAVORITE VACATION, EVER! FOR A WOMEN, MOM, WIFE, GRANDMOTHR I SIMPLY HAD NO RESPONSIBILITES FOR ANYTHING SUCH AS ACTIVITIES, DRINKS, ENTERTAINMENT,CLEANING UP, THE PREPARATION OF FOOD, ETC. SO FOR ME IT WAS THE ULTIMATE RELATION VACATION. I DIN'T HAVE TO DO OR BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 1 THING. THE ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN & THE MAID SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC. THE AMENITIES SUCH AS HAIR DRYER, SLIPPERS& ROBE, BEAUTY PRODUCTS, RM SAFE, HANGERS, FREE STOCKED RM REFRIGERATOR WAS THE BEST I EVER SEEN. THE 2 BEACH LOCATIONS (LAGOON & OCEAN FRONT) WERE QUITE A CHOICE. THE POOL WAS GREAT. THERE WAS ALSO A LOT OF SHADE PROVIDED @ THE BEACHES WHICH IS HIGH ON MY LIST SINCE I HAVE FAIR SKIN & DO NOT LIKE BEING OUT IN THE DIRECT SUN. I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH OUR STAY.

Great deal for the money.

Our Dreams vacation was just that. From the moment, my sister and I arrived, we were impressed. The location on the blue Carribean Sea took our breath away. The room was large and the toilitries were of exceptional quality. The dining was overall good with the exception at one meal at the seafood restaurant where we ordered filet mignon and got another cut of meat. We said nothing as the wine served made up for this. The staff was friendly and even when our tipping dollars ran out, we were still served as graciously as before. If you want to just relax and eat, drink and be merry. this is the place to be. As an extra perk, the new Dolphin Encounter is terrific to swim with these beautiful creatures. The Spa on site is a must to enjoy. Ask about their daily 2-1 specials. We enjoyed marvelous messages and facials. We would definitely return to Dreams.
